I can't help thinking that they'd of been better off making a clean break from BB, and creating a whole new show. A spin off is just likely to dissapointed BB fans, as it likely won't be anywhere near as good

It is a spin off, ofcourse it is trying to hang on to the coat tails of BB. To suggest otherwise is pretty stupid.
It may well be a comedy, but Saul was never really a serious charecters on BB, there was always a big comedy element to his charecter
He is one of the few main characters that didn't die & I wouldn' t be surprised if he makes a brief guest appearance with Badger and skinny Pete at some stage to boost ratings.
