    I'm sure Benny will be 10, though I don't read into Routledge having 53. There're probably a few of them who haven't selected their new numbers and were just given random ones for the time being

    Yeah, Cabaye's no. 52 in this gallery: http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/News/Gallery/0,,10278~2387424,00.html. Further on, Marveaux has no. 22 on, that could be genuine.

    PS. I found this gem on one of the other galleries:
    Interestingly, 'star... Xisco' (their words not mine) was wearing no. 13.

    Yes but didn't Ben Arfa get told he couldn't have 55 last year (5+5), so he chose 37 (3+7)?

    I'd imagine sometimes players will grab specific number training kit (Kuqi wearing 9 for example), but most of the time it just seems to be random.

    Better to get 53 than not get a squad number at all like Rob Lee under Gullit. Yeah, we're continuing to pay you, but we're not giving you a number.


    Either way, the best thing about that link is the picture to the left of Leon Best planking in the changing room.

    I thought that too, but by the looks of things they've got the new gear and given their specific number.

    Cabaye & Routledge probably havent got numbers yet so are in the 50's. Xisco getting 13 implies he is staying? <yikes>

    Because Xisco lost 13 to Ba, he has to wear something. Also looks like Marveaux has his eye on 22, he's been wearing it in all the pics I've seen.
