Assuming City get promoted to the Championship, who would we like to see join us, and who would you like to see relegaed from the Championship. My views are purely based on locality and fanbase, as we need to ensure as many full houses as possible next season and thus the cash from these if we are going to compete. So up Swindon & MK Dons Down - Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall (mainly because despite being fairly local, their fans always cause more damage than their gate receipts are worth, and also because Hollowhead is their manager.
Assuming we finish in the top 2 then at least one or more out of Swindon, MK Dons and PNE are going to miss out. There is still time for any of the teams in the top half to make a decent run and finish strongly. Oldham have rediscovered some form and Chesterfield and Walsall are going well too. I'd like to see PNE and Chesterfield join us and relish the bigots Malkie Mackay and Dave Whelan being relegated with poxy Wigan, along with Blackpool and (dirty) Leeds !
League 1 has a huge mid table this season that points wise, starts at 5th. 2 clubs will be in the play offs and on their day, could win those important games- Scunthorpe, in 18th place, are 7 points behind 6th with 2 games in hand, so you cant rule anyone out quite yet- On merit though, you would hope that the 3 positions would come from the top 4. Going down, not really bothered, 4 of the bottom 7 involve some travelling, so 3 of those maybe
Would like to see MK Dons up behind us by 6 points, don't want last day nerves. Swindon come up through play offs penalties so they **** themselves all the way up. And only because I like away days there. To come down Leeds because they always beat us. Cardiff because that would be funny, but would miss the rivalry and Brighton. Would like Millwall, Blackpool to stay up and get relegated next season, as they won't improve on their teams, along with Swindon. Brighton I feel are having a bad season but could turn it round next season, so would like them out the way for a season. Really surprised to see Charlton down there as wasn't it them us and Chelsea all unbeaten for weeks at the beginning of the season?
