A title version. Can't think of anything else that rhymes Ohhhhhhhhh Koeman loves his mayo On chips he says it's vital And when he came to Southampton He took us to the title!
DTLW your 'restricted view' tweet made the BBC Sport gossip column http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/31218895
Seems like we are being taken as serious contenders for top four, even Martin Samuels accepting we really are there. Saying that if "new" clubs (not smaller" take two of the four places in Saints and Spurs, that the effect on Arsenal, Manure and Scousehampton will be devastating both financially and status wise. Teams like Scousehampton must have a ECL place...I assume due to over reaching financially
If Targett's not fit for The West Ham game, how about 3 at the back (Fonte, Yoshida, Gardos), with Clyne moving to LWB and then either JWP or McCarthy coming in on the right?? Leaves Schneiderlin Wanyama Davis in midfield (pretty solid) with Pelle + Mane/Elia strikers, with options on the bench (Tadic, Mane/Elia) to come on
Matty's injury was described as concussion and whiplash ....close run thing for Wednesday I would have thought.
I just watched goals on Sunday and Kammy and John Barnes said the challenge on Forster was not a foul??? Take away my saints tinted glasses and it's still a foul all day long.
My schadenfreude at that lots displeasure genuinely knows no bounds. Sadly not actually DTLWs tweet - he's had enough good luck this week already!
Definitely a foul (which pleases me as I would hate it to have been a fumble by Forster). Fonte said he asked the ref...who said it was both a foul and an offside.
Fernandes has tweeted that Austin is likely to miss only one game...glad to hear it (now we've taken 6 points off them ).
Yes that would complete a great weekend. Our upcoming home games against Liverpool and Spurs are getting tastier by the week.
It's up to us really. If we deserve top 4, we have the chance to push a couple of contenders back into the pack.
If that's the diagnosis I can't see him playing on Wednesday. If the team cares about Targett's long term health at all the concussion should rule him out for a minimum of a week. But if he has even a mild case of whiplash on top of that, I imagine he'd be pretty happy just to be able to turn his head by Wednesday. I can;t imagine him even being able to run, much less go up for a header.
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/debayo-signs-up-1119175.aspx ? More likely to be Yoshida though
I know its likely to be Yoshida. He did okay at LB yesterday but there was a lot of space on QPR's right side which we would of exposed with a natural LB. Though the one time he did drift forward he set up the assist for Mane.
