Ok ok ok ok apart from.... This could go on, no I do not think Barton is banned just wish he was, not just from the next game but from this world
Form etc all points to a home win but you living up to your name would make a surprise so much more enjoyable. Were you one of the ones who went to Southampton earlier this season Smug?...
Neither have you No, I fortunately missed the Southampton game. I also missed another 8-0 when we were battered at West Ham ..... sadly I was at a wedding reception in Newcastle.
Well my point is no-one saw that 8-0 coming so you shouldn't take it for granted that you just have to turn up to win. Sometimes a sickener like yesterday can produce a very determined reaction, I expect it to be a very tough game for both sides...
Now that I've answered your question, how about answering mine ........ it's only polite. "you shouldn't take it for granted that you just have to turn up to win." I haven't said that either. BTW, I did see a defeat coming at Southampton, they're an excellent team. I can't see a home defeat coming against QPR tbh, I'd be very disappointed to lose.
The fact you're on our board quoting 'facts' seems very smug to me, as I said, form is in your favour at present but anything can happen in 90 minutes...
It's supposed to be a forum for debate just as is the Sunderland board where your QPR poster came to post. He also chose to post this thread about Sunderland and the posters on the Sunderland board. Excuse me if I answer a direct question with facts ............. it seems that whatever this board if for it certainly isn't debate.
1-0 win to Sunderland, the most boring team* in what is a very poor league this year. QPR are definitely one of the 3 poorest teams in it and will be relegated. However, Sunderland were the worst team I've seen at Loftus Road this season, and Vergini the worst (non QPR) player. We won't miss Austin because he's woefully off form, and his absence gives us the chance to play quicker thinking and moving players where they should be played. We will miss Dunne much more, especially if Rio is recalled. Stick with Ramsey this season would be my preference, even in yesterday's performance he showed more flexibility than we've seen for 3 seasons and we didn't just lump it forward at the first opportunity. But the manager is almost immaterial as the club needs a bottom up rebuild, its a PR driven madhouse. Fernandes let the genie out of the bottle with his lack of realism and there's no way he can get it back in. * according to my Mackem ST holding mates, who are bored with watching a well drilled defence full stop. An injury to Defoe and you are back where you started.
The way this site works editing someone else's posts in reply doesn't really work, as I can't see what you've written..... Re Austin, absolutely serious, he tries his heart out but has been nowhere near scoring since December. EDIT: just worked out how to see the whole post. You're a bit stat fixated aren't you? Asperger's perchance? I was there, you were the worst team I've seen this year, other than QPR. Vergini was awful, as in lack of basic skills. Subjective I know, but hey, it's all about opinion, we're not talking about NFL.
He's been poor in the last few games and, as Stan says, we can now try Vargas and Zarate in roles they will be more comfortable with. As I said the form is in your favour and Defoe, who has been linked to us for the past three seasons, might just ironically put us to the sword but we'll see...
