They were kind enough to lose at LR and kick start our season - such as it is - though I fear a rampant Defoe proving why he declined Harry's multiple attempts to bring him to LR.
The thread was posted after midnight, on a Saturday night after the match, and has had a handful of replies. I suspect drink may have played a big part, not really worth getting excited about.
Does it really need explaining ........ OK, as you've asked. Sunderland have just signed a proven PL goalscorer .......... QPR have just lost one. Sunderland are unbeaten in the last 4 games, winning 2 ...... QPR haven't won since before Christmas, losing the last 4. Sunderland have a manager gradually imposing his style of football ........ QPR don't have a manager. Sunderland are scoring more than a goal a game ...... QPR are scoring a goal every 2 games. Sunderland have conceded less than a goal a game in the last 6 ......... QPR have conceded 2 goals a game in the last 6. Sunderland are at home ........ QPR are away. Current form means a lot and Sunderland's is better. I'd imagine we'll be more confident that QPR.
as far as I can tell the only thing they do better is draw games they have scored less won less than us and we are ****
I think you'll find that's an important part of the game, you also seemed to have forgotten that QPR have also lost almost twice as many as Sunderland. Not losing games, that's something else we're better at.
"Sunderland 'are' scoring more than a goal a game (Not 'have scored') ...... QPR 'are' scoring a goal every 2 games. Sunderland have conceded less than a goal a game in the last 6 ......... QPR have conceded 2 goals a game in the last 6. "Current form." Every comment concerns current form, I notice you ignore everything else that doesn't suit your daft agenda.
current form you say 3 losses in 5 games both sides are crap just don't understand why you think you are worldbeaters who will be 4 up by half time
As opposed to 5 losses in 5 games ...... almost twice many and possibly twice as many after Tuesday. (This is if you're ignoring FA Cup games.) Current form is important or do you disagree? Besides, we've lost 1 in our last 5 games.
could be four losses from 6 on tuesday if QPR do the double will you bow down to their superiority and say sorry
At the end of the day were are both sh@t teams. We don't win away and Sunderland Aren't Chelsea at home. Don't get too excited as i remember the last one being 0-0. However with all of our chasing of Defoe in the last 2 seasons you can see him putting another nail in our coffin.
It could be, anything's possible in this league ......... how do you think QPR will do at Sunderland and who do you want as manager?
be happy with a point cant say I would want Sherwood as manager he is so sure of getting the job he cant even be bothered to turn up over the weekend and have a look at the team he is meant to be getting
I can't agree with that tbh. Sunderland got off to a poor start then lost too many players to injury but the form is improving. I was at Swansea, yesterday, and we played some very good controlled football. Poyet is gradually changing the style for the better and the supporters appreciate it. Defoe is obviously an excellent signing and other players are finding form at last. We're not brilliant but we're not shyte, 40,000 people wouldn't be there, on Tuesday, if we were shyte.
Good answers but they don't actually fit the questions. How do you think QPR will do and who do you want as manager? For what it's worth I don't believe Sherwood will get the job. He will want a long contract and he has no experience of getting a club out of the Championship. I think you'll stick with what you have as there's too little hope of avoiding the drop.
