Nobody was really good enough today to be fair. Cazorla and Ozil were flat and only really Welbeck showed a couple of glimpses of what we can do, but it was a poor performance all round really.

Great energy levels from the spuds & Rose was very good.

That said, man of the match would have to go to the spud's diving instructor. Had hoped he was Bale's personal coach and had ****ed off when he left, but clearly not.

I see the spuds have already made an official release on youtube celebrating today's travesty - says it all really :p

Annoying display. Sitting back and waiting to hit back on the counter might have worked but we had no outlet, as Welbz isn't a winger in the technical sense and so Spurs could afford to press us because nobody really made the runs in behind, I know Welbz started because he'd be better defensively (even there he didn't have the best impact) but hindsight suggests Walcott should have started. The midfield was too submissive as Cazorla was kept quiet and Ramsey had an awful game.
Fair play to Spurs they were better on the dy but thankfully we have Leicester next to bounce back from and hopefully Sanchez and Oxo back as well.

Wow these spurs fans really are deluded:

According to them they're superior to us in every position, and that the power shift has happened and that they're the main team in North London.....Lol, holy moly these ****ers are desperate. I think it is a fact when it comes to the most deluded ****s out there, the spuds take the cake.

Obviously very pleased with the result and the performance but was surprised with the approach from Arsenal. Against City you got a great result by sitting deep and catching them on the break. I think Arsenal are at their best when they play their normal open, expansive fast passing game but they seem to have abandoned that for a more cautious approach in the tougher matches. I think if you sit back and invite good teams on to you will lose more than you win. Do you think Wenger got it wrong today?

I think we got the tactics right, but as Wenger said, too many of our players were below par today. We missed Sanchez too and I think Debuchy would have offered more defensively down our right. Ultimately we weren't as good as we could have been today and Spurs were better than us.

The spuds are obviously scum but you must admit, that gap really is narrowing between the two clubs and them being above you (albeit usually very briefly) is becoming a much more common occurrence. St Totteringham's day is getting later and later.

It may not be Mourinho of a few years ago but his record in finals is scary good. Both sides will be confident.

As a neutral I thought Spurs were much the better team and despite predicting an Arsenal win at 0-1 I thought Spurs would win given how the game was going. I didn't think Spurs could play any better than they did against us at WHL but they did so you have to say fair play to them.

Spurs win the battle but inevitably Arsenal will win the war as they will still finish above them. I think both sides (Spurs to a greater extent) can take plenty of encouragement out of their starts to 2015. Just makes you wonder where they'd be without Levy.

The penny seems to have dropped for Wenger and he's changing his tactics in big games. I'm a critic of Wenger but he wasn't at fault today and got the tactics right but you can't legislate for the kind of performances Ramsey, Koscielny and both full backs in particular had. Welbeck was the only semi-decent player and Coquelin was overrun by Tottenham's midfield.

Well the last time Spurs won a trophy, and coincidently it was the same cup, it was against you in the final, :D, shall history repeat itself? A loss for Spurs in the final of the cup could send them down on a negative spiral.

Chavski will most likely win the CoC. Not too bothered by it tbh. An extra game to play for both sides and loser loses morale, Spurs moreso than Chavski. Hope whoever loses does lose in gut-wrenching style in a PK shootout.

Kind of a win win for Arsenal fans. If the spuds lose we get to taunt them for bottling the tin pot. If Chelsea lose we get to laugh at Maureen sulking. Either way whoever wins, it's only the league cup and carries very little prestige.

If I had to pick a winner it'd be Spurs. Not only would a cup final loss be demoralizing it'd also **** up their morale and run of form. And since we really don't have a chance of catching Chavski I'm not really bothered by them unless they play us or our direct competitors this season.

Spurs beat an in form Arsenal, you had scored 13 goals in four matches with three at a very tricky Brighton. I think they will be competing with you for a CL place.

We'll be out of sight of them by the end of March! In fact I reckon by the end of March Arsenal will be sitting in third.
