we got to play better than we did against the blues spuds flying high after beating the Arse and we're holding a post mortem after that **** game
I don't think we have much to worry about if we can start something closer to our best XI We missed Sturridge, Markovic, Lucas and Coutinho playing a full game
If we cannot beat Spurs at home we can forget about CL. They are really poor away even though they had a great match against Arsenal today.
we missed them because Rodgers either didn't start them or took them off! there is no guarantee he'll include them all in the team
Since beginning of December Spurs have only won 3 out of 8 away games. Having said that, in the same period Livpl have only won 2 out of 8 home games. A draw it is then lol
Annoying that its only 3 days rest away. That is probably why Coutinho and Sterling didnt finish todays game.
If you mean who is being the 10, Coutinho If you mean Sterling as a striker or deeper forward, deeper #trickquestion
Does the whole team go: Mignolet Skrtel Sakho Can Markovic Moreno Lucas Henderson Coutinho Sterling Sturridge ?
Think we could play Sterling off Sturridge and just give Coutinho a free role. That is probably what you meant any way.
Makes no difference. Team should be fluid enough that they all interchange and move around when attacking anyway.
It's well set up, isn't it? We seem to be turning up for the big games lately yet you've trounced us on the last 3 occasions we've played and I think we've lost the last 4 times we've played you. Not particularly confident as our best performances this season seem to be followed up by a crap result in the next game. Potentially this could be one of the games of the season as both sides favour fast attacking football and both sets of defences seem to treat actually defending as a distant afterthought at times. I'd definitely take a draw if it was offered, it would still leave us pretty well placed.
