Villa will be ****ting themselves because they know they could be occupying a relegation spot on Tuesday night. We don't want the ground full of moaning bastards either.
let's expand that context slightly. We were in the bottom 3, they were 2nd, and current champions. We got a point. As you say: context.
I thoughtbthe same about Livermores, don't know whether he scuffed it or went for the wrong corner, but if he'd gone for the other side of the goal it was in without the rest of the guff.
Great performance, unlucky not to take all 3 points, but a point is better than we expected. Just need to win Tuesday evening then things will feel a lot better.
Early reports saying broken foot and could be out for the season. If that's the case their inevitable first away victory of the season at the KC in a few weeks could be their only win between now and the end of the season.
They've got about 6 strikers though haven't they (not saying that they can bring to them what Austin does)?
Austin, Vargas, Zarate, and Zamora. And Zarate obviously won't be playing if they have West Ham still to go as he's on loan.
Great to see fight and passion like ive said before if the players give everything then we the fans will back them all the way, I was concerned at the lack of pace with Mcshane, Bruce and Dawson but three warriors (great to see) and how well they played. Fantastic point lets hope it lifts the team, Villa Tuesday night the same passion needed listening to Alex Bruce interview he said we really need the KC rocking on Tuesday how true that is. We haven't had a lot to cheer about lately lets hope we do in the very near future, Cheer the lads on for that really vital home win. Well done all those who went today before the game it must have felt has though you was visiting the Alamo
A lack of pace isn't so worrying when your game plan is to sit back deep and defend. It becomes a problem when the onus on you is to attack and win thebgame and your defence gets caught exposed further upfield. That is why we'll lose to Villa. Bruce will keep his stubborn strategy of not changing a team that does well, regardless of the job they were put together to do and the needs of the next game, their fast counter attacking style will catch our slow exposed defence and turn them inside out.
