Pretty well considering it's his first start for us in months. 2nd best player in the 1st half, after Couthino. Hit th post from 30 yards. Cracking effort.

    More quiet this half though.

Lambert! Excellent! We truly needed some slower build up play, because the tempo of our game was too high.

Good shot there by gerrard. Really looked like he's putting in the effort.

Good point for a decent performance. Don't think we quite deserved the win despite being the better team. Skrtel, Ibe and Allen all good, didn't quite understand taking Coutinho off but ah well. Yet another another clean sheet and more evidence that Rodgers is turning out defense around.

What a truely terrible terrible game. Everton played incredible negative, but then so did Rodgers. Bringing Allen on, taking Coutinho off, keeping Gerrard on...cost us the game that.

From a bright first half, to a dull and drab second half. All we had to do was bring on Sturridge for Gerrard and let Coutinho and Sterling find him, instead we systematically brought off all of our creativity and then most of our pace with two substitutions. It's the kind of sub you make on Champ manager when you take control of the opposition team and throw the game by removing their best players...

This entire match we've played like we were 3-0 up, no urgency, no pressure, no pressing, no ****ing pace. Our defenders love to ****ing pass the ball between each other and take their time. Our midfield ****ing takes the easy option EVERY time without fail. A short back pass. Rafa would be proud. Gerrard takes his hollywood role seriously and can't ****ing be smart about it. Rodgers takes off our creative dynamo to throw on a player that relies on that dynamo to be remotely effective.
He replaces Markovic (who despite being not THAT great the past few matches) with Ibe, without any serious senior experience, on derby day. Ibe's been quite good for his standards but I can't help but feel someone more experienced would have made something more out of that.

Allen is an absolute waste of space and I don't care if it seems like he's being scapegoated, he's never EVER deserved a starting spot in his entire Liverpool career and if he isn't gone in the summer then I'm certain 6th is our ambition as long as Rodgers is here.

Christ I'm just so sick of this season. Rodgers needs to wake up soon. We've squandered a chance to come so close to 4th place. There isn't anymore ****ing time you cretins, it's February and we're not doing so great as to play this game with no urgency.

  16. Migs time wasting in injury time like we were winning <doh>

Starts suggest we dominated the game but I think a draw was probably a fair result. Neither side looked like scoring.

Glass half empty? He solidified us and they never looked like scoring in that second half, tbf he bought two strikers on and on another day we would of got in a couple of times.

  20. Keeping Gerrard on was sentimental IMO. No room for that in football.
