The only substitution that I would carry out is Sturridge for Gerrard. Enough with the sentiment he is really struggling to keep up with play. This would also ensure Everton play deeper.
Really not sure what Gerrard's done this game. Hendo's dropping much deeper since Allen replaced Lucas - deliberate move or just doesn't trust Joe on his own at the back? Either way, bright 20 then faded. How long til we see Sturridge to stretch them?
Allen's done alright since coming on but he's one of those #scapegoats I keep mentioning The game been a bit erratic at times but neither side really looks like scoring atm
Ibe was decent. Coutinho is being fouled out of the game. midfield ineffective and Sakho seems to be targeted as a weak link.
Honestly I just think that 90% of our play is parallel Cleverley balls in our own half. You're professional ****ing footballers. Take a risk, send it forward. They're all so worried about putting a foot wrong that they're not even trying to get in their half.
