Why do we play like a pub team one week and then be only minutes away from beating a team worth hundreds of millions of pounds on their own ground? The late goal is disappointing but that surely has to give the lads and the fans a lot of confidence going into these two crucial games. Well done to the lads today, we need to get behind the team on Tuesday and get a real atmosphere going.
Context doesn't seem to matter to some of you, it does to me. Great point if we were the ones who equalised in 91st minute... Bad point when you're winning with 3 minutes to go. Great point before kick off. Bad point after kick off. Context.
Brilliant point hard-earned today. Congratulations to all the lads and the management/ coaching team.
Fantastic performance all round -- including initial team selection. Meyler and Brady in particular were immense.
Who is this idiot Wade Wilson? Yes it's disappointing to concede late on, it was a great free-kick from Milner, give him some credit. Man City totally dominated the second half. Every single one of us would have taken a point - ern no even perhaps a low scoring defeat today and the team played like heros
Think this was the 4th round. No idea how many rounds there are.Edit. It seems they are now in the semis!
Have you been scouring year old posts for your signature? You're obviously sad, as well as being ****ing ******ed.
Man City had three chances of note in that game, one was saved comfortably, one hit the bar and one was quite frankly a brilliant free kick. Forget the result for a second, that is outstanding defence from a team who have been shipping goals of late, the players can take a lot of confidence from that.
To me you're all settling. When luck gives you 3 points and 3 minutes to go you take it. You know as well as me that this is unlikely to mean a string or spell of similar performances. Another Newcastle game is just around the corner, that's why you don't settle.
