He was played out on the left today, team selection sounded like Redfearn dare not leave out Sharp after his goal but didn't want to drop his beloved Morison so the whole formation was changed and we paid for it.
I just think we need to get rid of Redfearn. He's showing he is clearly not up for it. Unfortunately it appears that we are stuck with him for life. If we go down this season, it will most likely be cos of his limited ability as a 'manager'/coach. He doesnt seem to be able to motivate our players, who on paper should be better than than are showing, tactics poor, just doesnt seem to have a clue really and we rely on luck. Yes, we've had some ok results as of late, but we were ****e against hudderfield, and again today and deserved to have been beaten in most of the other games we lost before this 'decent run'. No more support a 'nice guy' manager when we need someone with ideas and motivational skills. Then on the radio just then. Redfearn: "we aren't going to play well every week, you know what I mean?" Err... When have we played well? and second of all.. what an attitude to have? Does he speak like this to the players? My god
Who's going to be first back today updating us of how well/poor we played. Got to be between Glory, WJ and LCW - Who's your money on?
Stand by my statement from two weeks ago that Redfearn is clueless, did anyone think starting with Sharp and Morison was the right thing? The fact he wanted to keep Austin and give him another contract this summer says it all for me. Austin just runs about a lot and has little or no talent. Morison is worse than barn door Billy and he is never gonna score many goals. Just hope we can survive this season and Cellino sees we need better players and a better manager or just sells up but i wouldn't hold my breath. Getting sick now of seeing small clubs like Brentford,Wigan, Bournemouth etc taking the piss. And don't get me started on that dick of a ref.
I wrote a post earlier and deleted it, the post was along the lines of who would have thought we would be happy about beating the likes of Bournemouth and hoping we might scrape something against Brentford, is that how far we have fallen, is this our lot now...
Cannot disagree. We should have been looking for a real coach before now, and perhaps been the team to give Freedman a go, alright not great at bolton but did well at Palace before that and was a determined individual when he played for us! He probably would have been the one of only a few that would have taken the job...Forrest and their own manager eater didnt put him off
Sounded like it anyway. Redfearn was quick to blame the strikers for not scoring and was quite happy with his assessment that 'we arent going to play well every week' as if we should grateful with the slim loss or something
Freedman's a manager who chooses his own players, we employ coaches who have players chosen for them by Cellino/Salerno That's just the way it is
No surprises there from Redders Orion, he's one who blames everyone and everything, except himself of course. Does Redders actually realise he is the one who picks the team?
Before anyone starts with the **** ref, corrupt fl bollocks we were a team entirely of clueless Redfearns choosing today and we played in his image. Toothless, gutless, inept and lightweight. The ****ng midfield players are week in week out completely ****, we have fluked some wins recently. But today we didn't compete or win a header in the midfield. Time and agai their pacey wide men were allowed ot run unchallenged. Why persevere with sharp and Morison when it was completely ****e. Sol Bama was average the other twelve we saw today were ****. Thank **** blackpool, Wigan and wall are as bad as they are, we are already safe but make no mistake this coach has to go, and not one of those players is as good as most of you think. One of the deluded asked before did I expect barcelona, no I dont, I expect leeds United and a team trying their hardest and having a clue.... It's not ****ng rocket science. The little rond thing goes in the big rectangle at the end of the pitch.
Very subtly put Chippy, which I totally agree with except for all the players not being very good. We have some good players, but the favourites Redders keeps picking aren't brilliant, many of our good players are on bench or dropped, by Redders of course.
