We wouldn't necessarily turn into Stoke without Sky money. It's all about a club ethos. Blackpool weren't Stoke after all. If we decide to play football beautifully, win or lose, then it doesn't matter what players we have. I saw a piece about the English equivalent of the Clairefontaine Academy currently being built. Maybe once we improve the standard of English talent then Sky would be less important to maintaining a top 5 league spot (compared to worldwide leagues), which I have no problem with. I'd rather sacrifice a top 2 spot for the numerous benefits that we would regain.
It'll be the only head to roll annoyingly. And look! There's a new Sunday edition of the Sun with an awful pun involving it's name in the weekday.
Also, the Sun is rubbish. So are most of the papers in this country. The best one is merely the best of a bad bunch.
