I haven't seen anyone getting a raging hardon over animal abuse in this thread, bar zico and his rat story, who isn't clearly taking the piss.

"The badger took some amount of killing. It was trapped by its leg in a snare so I decided it would be best if I ended the wee prick. Several bashes over the head with a spade and a screwdriver through the eye later I decided it would be easier just to get my dads car and drive over it."

You were taking the pish. Fair enough.

no idea. pigs are just as intelligent as dogs but we eat them, are they just consistantly more delicious? i did hear somewhere that you shouldnt eat meat eaters so maybe thats it.

    wouldnt mind trying horse though.

True story. It was intended as a mercy killing. In hind sight it probably would have been better to leave it so starve to death over the course of a few weeks rather than upser precious stereotypist. <wah>

Where I live theres a big man made lake 2 miles circumference. anyway its a swan sanctuary but theres huge pike in there too. so on a fishing trip i accidently hooked a swan, he was a **** to reel in but i was getting him in a bit when some ****ing fitness fanatic bitch started causing a scene about cruelty.

in short that is my story of the one that got away <wah>

My first memory is of my Grandad hurling a `meowing' sack into the canal and saying `bastards'. I was brought up learning how to fish, light camp fires and cook stuff out in the wilds. I eat meat but I would never consider killing an animal just for `kicks'. Rats are vermin and it was spur of the moment - no time to think.

People who shoot little burds and rabbits just for the crack are arseholes.

Vermin and pest control is totally different. <ok>

Probably an embellishment of the Alan Partridge story where he ran over a badger and had to finish it off with a spade.

Dog isn't that bad to be honest, maybe a wee bit tough though. What they do in Korea and other parts of Asia to make it more tender is tie the dog up and beat the **** out of it then set about it with a blow torch while it is still alive, apparently this makes the meat more tender.

    Pigs eat meat too.

The only reason no one eats cats or dog in this country is purely to do with it not being socially acceptable. Cats and dogs are seen as pets rather than food.

So bashing it numerous times over the head, stabbing a screwdriver through its eye and driving over it is your idea of a mercy killing?

Sounds more like the activity of a future serial killer.

ps It doesn't say much about your manliness if you couldn't kill a badger with a shovel. What a ****ing wimp <laugh>

One time I found a bag of abandonned puppies, still alive, by the side of a canal.

I opended the bag and they were all badly malnurished but still alive.

So I pulled the legs off them individually and then kicked them into the canal.

Killing animals and animal cruelty are two completely different thing.

Jordan - A.L.F. spent his entire life trying to catch, kill and eat cats.

a friend of my mrs was going through a market in china and saw 4 puppies being sold (obviously for food) she thought she'd save them so bought them off the bloke, he promptly broke their necks and stuck them in a carrier bag for her <laugh>
