One of our so called experienced players needs to have a word, its the only joy they are getting and needs to be plugged before it does damage.
Forget the build up to the goal... Welbeck has been cack and keeps giving the ball away leading to them attacking us,
I agree, its 1 of my frustrations with welbz, how much he gives the ball away. But to be fair practically everyone is giving the ball away, even santi
Need more enrgy in the midfield and need to push the game away from our box. So far gameplan has worked but Theo and Rosicky are a must in the 2nd half when Spurs start to tire.
Half time - 2nd half we really need to keep hold if the ball in the 2nd half. Do that and the counter attacking opportunities will come
Agreed need to start showing some, can't keep giving the ball back to them at the rate we are at the moment or they will eventually score. Also both their full backs diving around conning the ref.
Welbeck needs to be subbed off ASAP. He's been rubbish and not only that but is walking a tightrope on a yellow. Rosicky for Welbeck now. Walcott for Ozil in last 20 minutes.
Good first half and great finish from Ozil. I'd like to see us play the ball out of defence a bit quicker, I think the Spuds are there for the taking on the break. We seem to be taking our time trying to get it out from the back and spurs are pressuring us into losing the ball. Another point, how the **** has that **** Mason stayed out of the book when Monreal and Welbeck were booked ?
Wellbeck has won the ball back for us more than anyone else though. He's certainly putting a shift in. Just looks a bit rusty.
Apart from setting up the goal of course Tend to agree though that he needs to be subbed in the second half.
Wellbeck was playing poor but in the second half period of the first half he started to come more into it.
Completely disagree on Wellback. He's touched the ball more than anyone else. He's winning it back and matching their physicality. Ozil and Carzorla have been invisible.
Ozil did what he had to do , in games like these with the tactics we are using, a player like Ozil isn't going to be that much visible, but when called upon he did what he had to do. As Spurs tire on, which they will, as they can't keep up this pace for 90 minutes, the likes of Ozil-Cazorla will become more important as they will have more freedom and space to do their thing with the ball. And that's when we can bring on Walcott.
The most important thing right now is not to concede in the first 15 minutes of the second half, we need to reach the hour mark at 1-0.
