Jonny Sexton and Jamie Heaslip are injured for Ireland. Depends how long they are out. We should beat England comfterably tomorrow given the injuries and hopefully the momentum we can build from the game will be massive.

On the international sporting stage, Wales is much revered, respected, even feared.
I am,of course, referring to the Welsh RUGBY team.

Wales' football team, however, hmmm, now where do I start?
Well, quite frankly,I am struggling to say anything really worthwhile.
Were they in a one team tournament, they'd be eliminated in the preliminary round. ;)

Yup. Best team won, they had a bad first 10 minutes but really they showed their class by containing the Welsh team for the rest of the first half and then Wales had no ideas left after the break.

I was laughing at some valley boys who thought I was wrong by saying Wales punch above thier weight in Rugby. Our leagues are always verging on financial collapse, now we can't keep our best players and our best clubs can barely get 5,000 through the gates. It's a complete contrast to the size of rugby in England where the sport is thriving and their talent pool is much much bigger, hence why their injury ravaged team is still better than our full team.

Most of our six nations wins were actually four nations wins, hardly anything like Wales' amazing 1958 World Cup football run. In twenty years time Italy will be a bigger rugby force as will Argentina and USA, you might even see Romania overtake us so long as the other Northern Europe nations get off their high horses and let them in to the tournament.

Well, thanks for that enlightening response. Did you get any help creating it?

You make a grand statement, which I ask you to clarify, and you throw your toys out. Must do better.

Go and compare Wales' international rugby records with those of the football team, then come back to me. It shouldn't take you long.

A nation of 3,000,000 did better than 187 others with a combined population of 6,000,000,000. You are using a nation of 3,000,000 beating 5 others, your argument is invalid. You are right son, it didn't take me long <laugh>

PS. Who exactly are you referring to as respecting us in rugby? It's nearly the same as saying America is respected for its power in NFL style football <laugh><laugh><laugh>

That's about the only truthful thing you have ever posted on this forum, Lib. You subscribe to the second part of this quoted sentence more than most.

I said before the match when everyone was saying Wales were going to win that dont underestimate England even with some of their best players missing, You only have to follow the 4 welsh teams when they come up against good teams from England, Ireland and Scotland to see them go to pieces. Wales have a strong side but they are not consistent enough and its about time now we had a change of coach and change rob howley while we are at it. We look stale and very predictable atm and it was so easy at HT for the English coach to come up with a game plan to beat Wales, they won very comfortable in the end and deserve too. Gatland has been brilliant but it's time for a different approach

Football as we know it didn't exist in 1754, and the fact you didn't know about our World Cup run says we all need to know about you. You can go find the info yourself because for once you might learn something about football, it would help because ever since you joined the forum you have showed a distinct lack of knowledge on the sport.

Just came across your conversation post,Valley, but it seems the condemned man is not able to provide a response. I will do so here.

Thanks for informing me that my behaviour was inappropriate.
I know It was,but I went ahead anyway.
Your friend ,project, used insulting language towards me in TWO posts, and I responded in kind.
He also used the word "prick" to describe a person who wasn't even posting on here. Tsk,tsk.

Did you send him a message, and block any chance of a reply, re HIS inappropriate behaviour ?
