Thanks for that Connor ... Do you know anything about the lambert to west ham agreement by Nicola behind MoPos back....heard several stories but if you knew anything to clear it up would be appreciated .
Brilliant read DTLW. Appreciate your fantastic insight. So, Arsenal home, MUFC & NUFC away, Swans home. Who'd have thought 3 wins, 1 loss? Who'd guessed the single defeat! Fantastic effort Saints. Just keep doing. Just keep believing & we will march on. COYS.
http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...g-claim-about-qprs-season-ahead-of-southampt/ Merson thinking that QPR are finished...not unlike most people. He thinks Redknapp jumped because of this and he lays the blame for QPR's position at Harry's door.....at last!!
I still don't get you. We win, oh I get you. Arsenal thump Spurs, we win by 1 goal, United beat West Ham.
''QPR have been relying on their home form because they cannot win a raffle on the road, but they have only taken two points from their last three games at Loftus Road and I do not see them ending that poor run on Saturday. Southampton had a strange result last weekend when they lost at home to Swansea because they should have been home and hosed by half-time. Saints know how well they played in that game and they would have won the majority of games in the Premier League playing that way. I think they have got a strong enough mentality to say 'that was just a blip, let's get back on it'.'' Lawro's prediction: 1-2 John's prediction: A lot of my friends are QPR fans and I would not like to see them miserable. 3-1 Merson's prediction for those who haven't read it. Has us as winning again, but he also predicted that for the last 2 games
I guess Filip wouldn't have started today, but why the delay in the work permit, this never seems to happen to the "big clubs"?
I really don't know any inside gossip but with regard to DTLW's information about the building work [at Staplewood] I had similar anecdotes told to me by my brother, who is friend's with some of the builders, and he was told they would build a wall, or some other similar thing, one day and NC would come in, look at it, and say 'I don't like that there, do it again' or words to that effect and down it would come and start all over again - several times a month Seems there's more than a grain of truth in that story at least.
I feek a bit torn about NC, I like most Saints fans was devestated when he departed, but some of the stories I've heard since he left have made me think that if 10% are true he must have been a very, very difficult guy to work for? He undoubtedly did a lot for our great club but in the end his ego took over.
Most of us would say I never liked the bloke, but I liked what he did while he was here, it's a bit hypocritical to slag him off just because he has gone, and he certainly is unlikely to defend himself on here! Saints fans seem to have a strange relationship with a lot of people, while they are here they have a mixed love/hate relationship, but after they have gone they are always the evil ones, people like Rickie, Matt Le T and Frannie being the exceptions to the rule. The hatred towards Poch, Lovren and Lala while seemingly justified, to me seems to be a bit overdone and not really Saintly behaviour, they are history, let it be.
To be honest, I'm not really fussed by these stories about Nicola, even if they are all true. Under his guidance, we achieved unparalleled success. It was not all his merit, but he was the guy in charge. So he likes to take the elevator alone and doesn't say hello to people. Yeah, I don't give a flying toss.
