Derby day is here! ****ing dreading the game tbh, not driving today so I'm going to get battered to numb the predicted pain The best derby in World football and for me the Goodison fixture is always the better of the 2 in terms of atmosphere (biased I know). For any of you lads who've never had the experience I implore you to stick a Goodison derby day on your bucket list, there's literally nothing like it in the game, and both sets of fans make it something truly spectacular in terms of atmosphere. I remember my lads face when I took him to his first derby when the noise started he just looked at me in complete shock, it's an awesome feeling and the night fixtures are even better, tonight will be special in that respect. Banter aside, good luck lads, and may the best side win
Best Derby in terms of quality and entertainment. Madrid derby usually lacks entertainment. London derbies there's about 20 of the a season and nuterals only care about one of them. Milan derby is rubbish now.
Have not read back so apologies if it has been mentioned (I'm a lazy batard, I know) but does anyone know who the ref is today.
http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-31152793 Fans segregation enforced for Everton v Liverpool derby Police take the unusual step of warning rival football fans they will not be allowed to sit together at the Merseyside derby. #bitter pricks in blue Not talking about the Everton fans
Few things: If Sturridge plays, Gerrard will lose his forward role so we can keep Coutinho and Sterling up top. Henderson will move to RWB and, of course, that means Lucas and Gerrard in the middle. The game will be a disaster if so. If Sturridge is on the bench, we stay as we were although it'll be a toss up between Markovic and Ibe at RWB depending on the fitness of the former. Defense will stay as it was. Not my info, just passing on what I've heard.
Everton (to face Liverpool): Joel, Oviedo, Jagielka (c), Stones, Coleman, Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku. Everton subs: Griffiths, Gibson, Kone, Barkley, Lennon, Browning, Alcaraz.
Massive day for Jordon! Really stoked for him. Disappointed that Gerrard is forced into the line up by Rodgers again, but it was always going to be the case, glad he hasn't put Hendo out on the right to make room for him though. No Balotelli or Borini again.
People need to stop dissing Gerrard in that RAM role. He is much more creative and a much bigger goal threat than Lallana in that position. In fact I'm a big fan of him in that role with a few pacey players around him.
