In true KGB style, I've just set things up so that Nev can do a last minute switch from ACS to himself to claim the glory.

I'm just pleased that the change in voting rules has got everyone that little bit "closer" to each other.

Did I win?

 

Can ACS actually win though given he didn't actually think up a headline and just stole Cabella's song. It devalues Trev's game to be honest...

 

I think it would be pretty hard to devalue this game to be honest

 

I think it speaks volumes when the likes of Nev and Heed would rather vote (for ACS) against themselves than face seeing you win Pouchy.

 

What was I to do, my voters had deserted me.
Not being one to go down with a sinking ship I changed my allegiance to ACS.
Besides BG is KGB.

 

He will probably have to get someone else to write his winners acceptance speech as well.

 

No doubt ACS will be respectful to the losers and very humble.
I on the other hand would have had a full page advert in the Sun by now, gloating.

After the Public Poll ends, is this not the stage where Trevor starts discounting 'Spoiled Ballot Papers' and invokes rule 46.1 or something and announces the Real Winner.

 

Sorry about the delay but I have had to take legal advice on the results of this competition and you know how fast lawyers can be.

Did ACS win? Good question that man.

Let us look at the facts.

1. ACS didn't make up the Headline, he "stole" it from another website. The allegation was initially made by Less Hope who was able to prove the allegation as his word is his bond.
2. Would any other respectful media outlet "steal" a headline. or indeed any other news article, from another respected media outlet and claim it to be it's own. I think you will all agree with me that the answer would be a resounding "NO"
3. Has ACS got history for this? Yes. Who wasn't embarrassed at the Super Caley Go Ballistic Celtic are Atrocious "gate" The reputation of this game suffered badly after that episode.
4.Did ACS get the most votes in the second round? Yes, or did he? Let's look carefully at the voting. Firstly, he voted for himself. It is a well known fact that ACS is A Commie Spy. Are spies allowed to vote? I don't think so. Secondly, Less Than is supposed to have voted for him, or did he? We all know Less Than is a fine upstanding British Agent. Ask yourselves would a fine upstanding British Agent vote for A Commie Spy. I don't think so. We all know computers viruses originate in the Soviet Union and clearly that is what happened here. We also know Carver Heed would rather commit Hari Kari than lose and surely the aforementioned computer virus is again the only realistic explanation as to how his vote has ended up with ACS. Taking these FACTS into account ACS has a genuine two votes and is clearly not the winner.


This then leaves Less Than and Smog Man as tied in the lead but lets also look at their votes. I voted for Smog Man's headline. Are we really thinking that Capital Death Mutilation, Oh Be One and Fred which One know better than me? I don't think so.
