It is not stirring. You know full well that you made a stupid allegation without a shred of evidence and lack common courtesy to retract it. That is all that is required. However, if you disagree, then produce the evidence.

I think you're aiming that at the wrong people Imaz - Tramore and Beth are new to this (2-3 weeks and may not even have the full mod tools yet) so condemning them for past actions of moderators is unfair.
I do, to a point, share your view of the Paris thread - there was a lot of generalisation going on that left me a bit uncomfortable but it diffused before I could tackle it on the thread (whether that was cowardice on my part or just a time thing I can't remember) but there wasn't anything concretely racist to my mind.
Certainly, if you have an issue then please raise it to the mods via PM. The recommendation about quoting post numbers allows a direct (and therefore) quicker assessment of any grievances (otherwise the tone and feel of a thread would be most likely assessed and any sense of justice would be more difficult to attain). If for my part, your historic issues relate to the time I was mod then I apologise although I never received any PMs regarding content and so tended to use my own tolerance levels as a gauge.
During Nines and Rollers stint, I do think that GMTH received a lengthy ban but this could have been propagated by the PM/post method otherwise the mods are left weighing the prospect of banning a regular poster compared to their posting content and the impact it has on the forum as a whole (which is invariable deemed as incorrect by a number of people hence inaction is often the chosen action without an evidenced complaint).
I also haven't noticed Uber saying anything untoward. I am a fan of his posts but I'm sure that my personal distaste of anything too derogatory would mean that I wouldn't be if he was actually guilty of racism.
So basically, give the new mods their fair chance and use the system as it was designed by the very even handed Brix (and voted in by the vast majority of posters) - only then can you reasonably pass judgement on their words - and once again sorry if you found anything offensive that went unpunished while I did my stint.

Uber, I've read and really enjoyed your many posts over a long period, and it strikes me you are the most UN-racist person I could possibly imagine. I suspect Imaz realises that, which is why he won't give chapter and verse. I cannot believe his broad allegations are intended to relate to you. Racism, particularly with malice, is a curse and I'm sure we all agree we need to highlight and address specific instances whenever they occur.

I appreciate that, Goldie, but he made a direct accusation some months back that I walked away from having discussed it with Roller at the time. Now that he believes there are unpunished 'racist scum' participating on this board I'd like to know whether he includes me in that. If he deigns to repond to the negative then I'll not only get off my high horse, but shall apologise unreservedly to him (and anybody else for that matter) for getting uppity about it.
Fair enough, Uber. I can see it's difficult when Imaz makes such a general accusation. If he still has a beef with you, no doubt he'll raise it now. If he doesn't, I think you can assume his claim does not apply to you.

You're in the UK long enough now to know that free speech is a basic tenet of society there and if you don't like that you should decamp to an Islamic dictatorship in the middle east somewhere, which would probably be more to your taste. But to have the nerve to say a discussion which involved dozens of posters over dozens of pages throughout a number of weeks should be shut down because you don't like what is being said, really takes some doing.
