You are now in the unique position to watch Better Call Saul next week on netflix as a prequel to Breaking Bad.

I thought the same when our daughter and her husband were waxing lyrical about BB, then we binge-watched the entire series. Absolutely brilliant, with a small amount of hilarious comedy entwined ... like when they were trying to charge a car battery. Can't wait for its offshoot, Call Saul, which starts here this weekend. For me, BB was the best show since "I, Claudius", which hints that I'm almost prehistoric. Anyway, anyone who didn't like The Office must be brain-dead.

As Bojack says try Trailer Boys, my lad's just got Netflix, he watched every series back to back and he loved it, and he's around about the age as you.

I dont. I never laughed, sat on the edge of my seat or found a single moment even remotely exciting. The only moment that ever got my even slight interest was when Jessie's bird (cant recall her name) was on screen. Like many others, I binge watched and it was a ****ing chore.

    Dont bother.

Funny that considering how the writers of Parks and Rec also wrote the US Office.

They are supposed to be dry and annoying, they act as foils for Amy Poehler and Rob Lowe to make them stand out as the funny, likeable characters, basic sitcom 101.

Your acting like its a coincidence that two people who remade a sitcom and worked with the original writers are in some way influenced by it, seems inevitable really.

Breaking Bad is the BEST thing to come out of the USA since ""24 and Homeland"". Superb stuff.

Dexter beats them all hands down (in my humble opinion of course).

After the first 2 seasons Dexter got so very silly (IMHO - lol).

Erm, that's not what I'm saying at all. I was merely stating that Amy Poehler said that when she watched The Office for the first time it changed her approach to comedy writing completely.

My bad, I misunderstood what you were implying. Although its worth noting Amy Poehler only ever wrote 4 episodes of Parks and Rec.

Love Vikings. This season looks like it might take a darker tone with all the heads hanging off his long ship in the trailer.

The Americans is one of the best shows on right no, the third season just started.

Agreed, although no more than 24 when the main guy was a heroin addict in the morning and fighting the bad guys in the afternoon!

You should read the books if you liked the show. Only the first season even vaguely follows the books. After the first season and first book they are so far apart in tone and characters that are still alive that they are no longer really the same thing at all. Plus the books explain what Dexter's Dark Passenger really is which the show never really goes into.
