Toby is definitely the best CB we've had in my lifetime. Stands out every time I've seen him play. Contrary to what Fran says, I've seen him make loads of last ditch tackles and interceptions, as well as goal line clearances, which doesn't mean he's been caught out of position, but rather he's mopping up after someone else. His positional awareness, though, as Fran suggests, is superb. Plays with such a calm presence. And he always appeals to the crowd to keep singing; and always pays a visit to the fans after the match too.
But agree, those around him bring him up to that level - as does he bring those around him up to his level.
The only way he'd sign for us is if had fallen in love with the club...yes, I believe in the tooth fairy as well.

I'd have to see a topless picture of Toby first....I never knew how talented Fonte was until he stripped off after scoring against Brighton
Agreed but he doesn't seem to get any media spotlight for his excellent performances this season so we might get lucky and sign him in the summer
Unfortunatley he will not sign as DTLW said on another thread Ron spoke with and tried to talk him into trying to sign in jan. But I am sure Ron,Les and the black box are hard at work to find a replacement in the summer.
Also as he has not made any false promises etc , if he does not sign a permanent deal then good luck to him .
