The dice are rather more favourably loaded to a relationship beginning as both parties are there for the same reason. Both are almost certainly as nervous, both will give each other the necessary time and patience. The truth is, not everybody suits the traditional scenario of meeting up with others, hitting it off and forming relationships. PL may well be one such person. It's not a crime, it's not a failing. There's a huge swathe of people who are in the same boat. Someone who might suit PL could be at the other end of the country or just across the street. Possibly even wondering how she'll ever find someone to bond with. Give it a go, PL.
