Both, hopefully, since I am a Swans' 'die hard',and Welsh to my core. But the Six Nations is just that, and Wales only gets 5 games to try and win it. Whilst The Swans' get 38 games to cement their place in the P.L. So,on that basis alone,i.e.,the broader picture, the Wales game could be seen to have more riding on it,and is of greater significance to The Nation as a whole. That's if you believe,as I do,that rugby, and not football,is the sport that Wales is more identified with on the World stage. Just my opinion,of course. Other opinions ARE available, and ARE acceptable - to me anyway. However, I am not going to be drawn into a Club v Country slug fest.
Word up bitchez Match thread is up and you're all very welcome to pop by for some banter or debate http://www.not606.com/threads/swansea-vs-sunderland-official-sunderland-not606-match-thread.291238/
not quite sure who is ready or not but from who I think is I'd go for Fabianski Naughton Fernandez Ash Taylor Jonjo Cork Montero Dyer Leon Gomis That is also a good starting 11 and will cause them problems!
Sigurddson is out for 3 games for a straight red, isn't he? So he misses tomorrow's game and West Brom on Tuesday night but will be back for the Man Utd game.
I came on to say exactly that!! If Lawro has us down to Win or Lose then I'd go to the bookies and bet on the opposite as he's almost always wrong where we're concerned! Guess he hates you more than he does us!!
I can understand why Lawro has us down to lose. We have not been playing well for 15 games or so maybe less, and we sucker punched Saints last week who should have beaten us imo. But I think we'll have a spring in our step tomorrow and we should win. I don't rate or like Sunderland very much and as other people have said if we don't get something the Saints win is wasted.
You know what I mean but I'll explain. We weren't expected to get anything at Saint Mary's but many fans expect us to get something tomorrow, me included. Some people keep going on about our league position and I understand that but it also means we should beat a team 10 points behind us. If we don't that'll be a disappointment. To me, anyway. So if we throw away a game that the bookies have us odds on to win then last week's work would have been wasted. Only my opinion but I think others probably share it.
Lawerence can go and jump in front of a train. Why do we even take him seriously? Swansea 2-0 victory tomorrow P.S. We can't be worse than that shower of ****e in Cardiff tonight
What you expect and what you get are two different things, especially in Premiership football. If you are expecting a win tomorrow then prepare yourself for disappointment - it may not happen. Sunderland are no mugs and will be looking for at least a share of the spoils. If we lose tomorrow we will still have the three points from St Marys so last weeks result will not have been wasted, and neither will the other 30 points we have accumulated so far.
