I was invited to a 'package' for the Burnley game, by someone on here, and had a great time.

I'm a strictly 'terraces' old style supporter but thoroughly enjoyed it ...... the food, drink & staff were great.

The club did everything properly from start to finish from providing players for photos/autographs to Monty mingling with everyone all day ....... a tour of the ground/dressing room/pitch-side capped it off.

It has the feeling of being a very nice club and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Many thanks to GA for the invite <ok>

I'd already left Mansfield, without a ticket, when he called to invite me.

It's only fair, I had him & his lovely lass to stay in the south of France for a week ............ we had a great time looking after them <ok>

It was a pleasure ...... loaned them a car, took them to Monaco etc and let them stay in the owners villa.

We had a few Sunderland people down and they were all lovely.

I always think we all have to help each other ........ I'm currently chasing Bradford tickets for 4 different lads.

Will you be able to make it?

I honestly couldn't be more proud of myself mate.

That may sound arrogant but, having rcd my Bradford tickets, I'm fighting hard for 4 others for people I don't even know, off here.

I could quite easily just think 'I'm all right Jack' but I'm trying everything I can for total strangers.
If I get them I'll take face value only and forget phone calls, postage etc.

For anyone who tries to trip me up & pull me down ......... get yersels fked right off <ok>

That's great Smug, well done mate. Wasn't blowing sunshine up your arse, it's just really cool to see so many examples like this on here time and time again.

Like raising funds for the poor old lad who was mugged last week. Where else would something like that happen? So much, so quickly.

I've never met anyone on here, like 90% of us I'm guessing. You just know that should anyone need help, you'd be almost guaranteed to find it here. Heartwarming.
