    Not a problem.

    1. Ronaldo

I suspect a PL title and CL title won by United played a big part in Ronaldo winning wpoty.

That was easy. Wheres your list?

Even if for some reason we let Man Utd have Ronaldo, who else have they been good for recently?

    Zaha? Powell? Pogba? Morrison? Bebe?

They've ****ed more kids than Gadd

No need for a list, bottom line is if only one player from utd got a sniff did the prowess to turn promising youngsters into wpoty start and finish with Ronaldo?

As dev said he'd have made it anyway regardless.

Ronaldo still would have made it, as would any player with the talent. the rise of a player can be held back/speeded up by the right man....

Of course he would have made it as a pro but the best in the world? That takes a whole lot more than just talent.

Depression is a horrible thing and in these days of austerity, council cuts, job losses, stagnant wages, losing a home to pay for elderly care etc there must be plenty suffering from it.
However Clarke Carlisle is a selfish man given he almost ruined the lorry drivers life when he jumped out in front of him and got hit, the reasons he gave is that he blew £100,000 in a casino a few days before and the reason he gave for that was because he lost his punditry job on ITV.

Carlisle has a well paid job at the PFA so its not like he had to go to foodbanks or sell the big issue, his "depression" was/is based on greed and self promotion, I'm happy for the driver and for Carlisle that he survived but he needs to look at people that can't afford to live and think just how lucky he is then hey presto no more depression.

Change the record UIR, either utd should be churning out players of Ronaldo's quality or he was a one off find.

Of course Ronaldo is a one off but you would have to be king of the bitters to dismiss the massive impact United had on his career.

The original point is that he would have made it at any club. This is of course, nonsense.

Lets just agree that Liverpool fans thought pennant was a better player so their opinion on Ronaldo counts for very little, of anything. Its of no surprise you bitter chaps cannot bring yourselves to say United had any influence on his career because that would require praising united.

Stick to silly claims that the massively liverpool influenced bbc is somehow biased to United. <ok>

Its all in your head mate, and btw Ronaldo had as big an influence on utd's fortune's as utd had on Ronaldo's career.

I said messi wouldn't have made it if not for Barcelona. I said Ronaldo wouldnt be the player he is today without United.

Messi was diagnosed at what? 10? Clubs were turning him down due to his medical bills of a grand a month. Barcelona stepped in a coughed up the cash.

Can't remember anyone on this board comparing Pennant to Ronaldo, any links to your daft assertion?

PS, this thread from your board is ****ing pathetic.

    http://www.not606.com/threads/danny-murphy-twat.291199/

Not only the OP but also horses head's post, tell him Murphy roomed with Owen because they were both from Chester, Murphy never mentioned the disaster and he was relating a story from his playing days.
Oh, and his comments are nothing to do with LFC or our supporters.

    Cheers.<ok>

Thats great and what not but we are talking about Ronaldo the best player in the world and not just a very good player. I have no doubt Ronaldo would have been a top player. What I am saying is that him becoming not just a top player but the best player in the world and one of the all time greats was largely in part to United.

Like I said. Talent can only take you so far. Guidence, coaching and everything around you can have a huge impact on how a players career turns out.
