Aaron Wilbraham is expected to resume training this week following a long injury lay-off. Out of action for six weeks after suffering a serious hip ligament injury, Wilbraham has missed City's last ten games.
Although the 35-year-old forward is extremely unlikely to be back in the frame for Saturday's top-of-the-table clash against MK Dons, one of his former clubs, the news that he is closer to making a playing return will come as a timely boost for the League One leaders.

Certainly, City boss Steve Cotterill will welcome the prospect of having four strikers to choose from for the first time since Wilbraham and Kieran Agard suffered injuries during the busy Christmas period.
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and loan signing Matt Smith have done a magnificent job in the absence of Agard and Wilbraham, scoring 17 goals between them since Boxing Day to keep the Robins on track for League One and Johnstone's Paint Trophy glory.

Sound encouraging, especially with Matt Smith departing in three weeks. We will need Wilbs to be fit and raring to go again asap.

I didn't realise it was that many. They really have been fantastic at holding the fort whilst the Cavalry got repaired.

I think JET is back to stay now-at least until the summer.
JET & Wilbs looks a powerful combo
