I made the mistake of putting Sky Multiroom in my daughters bedroom Terry, I must be a glutton for punishment (£2.50? I am paying £10.50 for mine)
You need to sort your (Sky) **** out pal, I have the sports pack for 50% of the price, HD for nothing, broadband for 2 year for nothing and multiroom for £2.50 p/m. The cancellation team have a world of offers for loyal customers (I have been with Sky for 7 years). If you're out of contract, you've got them over a barrel. They'd prefer to stick you on £30 a month than lose you altogether as a customer. I always call with the same story 'The wife is making me cancel everything, I wouldn't watch sports if it wasn't in HD, please help a brother out or I'm gonna have to cancel the whole thing'. They sometimes call your bluff, I've cancelled the whole thing once and they just get even more generous in that case, they rang me the next day with a suitcase full of tricks to entice me back.
I did it last October Terry mate, my sky box was iffy so I rang the cancelations team, they gave me Multiroom free for 12 months (£10.50 or £11.00 cant remember which after that), two new sky+ box fitted free of charge on a 12 month contract, the cancelation team advised me to cancel Multiroom after 12 months if I just wanted to keep the new boxes.
Make sure you get a better deal next time, even if you have to cancel the subscription, remember you have 30 days before they turn it off, in which time I guarantee you they'll call you prepared to give in to almost any demand you have.
