Not over Can surely...he is only 20 and is like errrm amazing, that worldie pass a bird in the office keeps going on about last night..... Even Pele couldnt have done it ;-)
People are getting a bit carried away with him TBF. He is good though, he can become very good given time.
I have seen one game with him I think. He looks like Besic, good range of passing.....can put a tackle in etc. Think people will see the best of them next season after they settle.
Got to admit, I've ****ed up with that line-up tbh. I did the unthinkable and forgot about Flanno Drop Baines and put Flanno LB... Migs Coleman - Skrtel - Sakho - Flanno Can - Lucas - Henderson Coutinho - Sterling Sturridge Easy
KKK linked him to Yaya Toure earlier today. That's a bit silly but I understand what he's getting at. The way Can carries the ball forward, the body structure, the strength, etc they're all very similar. He's obviously not as good but he's also only 20 years old so as plenty of time to improve. In that same thread I said to Tobes its not just based on last nights game either. He's been doing it in most games he's played. He can also shoot with either foot (although i don't think he's actually scored yet )
Brendan Rodgers says striker Mario Balotelli and defender Dejan Lovren have a chance of being involved against Everton. #fournilup
Asked if Everton fans would be glad to see the back of the Liverpool skipper, Brendan Rodgers replied: "I'm sure they will. He has been incredible for the club and been outstanding in so many derby games. He'll want to win, like he does every time. "How will he deal with the emotion of it being his last? Like he has all the others - by being focused on the team getting a result." Speaking about the Everton game in general, Rodgers added: "Derby games are very exciting. They are wonderful games to be involved in, full of emotion and they go so fast. The quality of the football is outstanding, which is especially impressive as the players are under intense pressure." "Daniel, like every player, wants to play," he said. "He is coming along very well. We'll analyse whether he starts over the next couple of days."
