Just out of interest, how is Henderson 'clearly' worth more? Us, you lot, Arsenal and Chelsea were all interested in Jones, ergo well sought after, and only Liverpool in for Henderson so how do you come to that conclusion?

Chequebook Kenny is anything but shrewd as his time at Newcastle shows. As for Henderson being worth more than Jones, I don't know how even a Deludapool fan can believe this? The guy has looked out of his depth on numerous occasions. Hell, he even got beaten by an Academy player on Skills School . Whereas Jones has looked outstanding for both Blackburn and the England Under 21's. Looks like we've got the better deal again but the scousers look the other way. All hail Chequebook Kenny!
There's no winning this argument only time will tell. I think Henderson will be a good signing and unfortunately Jones will also be a good signing. I wouldn't say Jones looked outstanding for England Under 21's though unless you now want your center backs to launch the ball every time they get it. Do you think Henderson and Adam or even Downing if he comes will push you on to the Top 4 next season though? Or do you think your squad is good enough to do that anyway but now you have the manager to match?
Yeah! really happy the signings look like they will fit well. I wouldn't be much of a fan if I didn't think we could finish 4th. Don't you lot think Suarez Carroll up front with Gerrard in the attacking midfield role is any good. Honestly?
I would like us to sign an out and out winger to give us options as we are very narrow. Would also like a 433 with Carroll up front Gerrard right of him Suarez left and Adam in center midfield. I do think the manager will make a difference no matter who we sign but also think we need to strengthen.
I honestly think Carroll has a lot to do before he would win me over on him being a top player. Therefore i will reserve judgement.
I don't know about Carroll still. He is a good player but can he lead the line for a Champions League club (as that is where you want to be) Suarez is magnificent though. I have always thought he was a top player at Groningen and then at Ajax as well. I don't know if he can score goals like he did in Holland but he is a great player to have behind the main striker. Him coming to this country and seeing him in every game has just intensified my opinion that he is a great player. He is something different to what Liverpool have had for a while. In the last few years it was Gerrard behind Torres but he isn't the same player, Gerrard is much more dynamic. Anyway Suarez is a great signing, Carroll in my opinion was way overpriced but if he scores 20 goals next season it will be good business. Adam is a steal at that price and is a top player. Think he'll do well. Henderson was a bolt from the blue. I'm being honest, if it was United who had bought him with the young players we have in that position, for that money, I wouldn't be happy.

I don't know what Ferguson is going to do next season but I think Rooney could be the option to play behind the main striker.
