http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...o-loan-Paul/story-25974227-detail/story.html? I'm a bit surprised about McShane, it suggests that Bruce isn't planning on reverting to 3-5-2, as with Chester out, it would only leave us one or two injuries away from being short and he's our only back up at right back(even if he is a terrible right back).
I like McShane but its obvious he's a problem at the moment, if shipping him out on loan is the solution then so be it, the squad is strong enough without him and we don't need the drama on the side that he causes.
Championship clubs will be interested in Macca surely, loan with a view to buy, perhaps even Sheff Utd Sagbo - back to France or Belgium? I don't see what he offers
McShane will be a huge loss. He's a free agent at the end of this season and wants to play so I don't expect to see him back in a City shirt.
Macca needs matches so he won't bang on about how **** it is sitting on the bench. It really is boring to hear & i really don't know how it's come to our fans idolising him. As for Sagbo... if he likes Brum and the shopping down there then sack him off for Walsall or Wolves.
For all the criticism of Mcshane the player, he's big in the dressing room. Very big. We need spirit and character now more than anything else and I think it's a mistake to ship him out. Unless of course he's so depressed about his non-playing situation that he's given up and is useless in the dressing room as well.
Mc Shane No, its the right back that is our problem, with Rosey out, playing Elmo there depletes our attacking threat even more. three at the back with Dawson and Davies just doesn't work.
We did manage quite well with Dawson & Davies in the middle of a back four last week so let's stick with it Only four of our four wins this season have come about when playing 3 centre halves so it would be madness to consider anything other than a flat back four.
McShane's long service here and his whole hearted displays should be acknowledged and whatever has gone wrong recently, maybe we should thank him for that.
I dont understand how macca can go from a sub to loaned out within a week? Ince I can understand but not a defender.
His contract is up in the summer and he wants to play. In training he'd be asked if he'd got fixed up yet as he's free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club. Whether we should be in this position is another question.
We've got Maguire coming through too and Bruce as back up. I can understand why he's being allowed out on loan. Still wouldn't be surprised if one of the newly promoted Prem sides took on him in the Summer. Very good player, gives everything and won't let you down. Bruce really has improved him
Don't see the logic in sending out McShane, who is adaptable at the back, when we've got two right backs( one being Chester) out injured. But then I said it was folly not to bring a right back in during the window. Sagbo can be fired into orbit and converted into a satellite,he'd be more useful.
Sadly you may be right re. McShane. But anyone who is trouble has to go no matter the player. However, It would be a massive gamble to let Macca go without a recall clause with Rosie and Chester out a while. Pl;us i want Elmo pushed further up the pitch. Macca gives a better balance on the right side and could even play in a D-3 of Davies Dawson McShane. Sagbo can go now. Hopeless case.
