Just short of a bit of quaity out wide. Interesting selection headache dow n the middle, Britton (fit after virus), Cork, Ki, Carroll, Shelvey.
Anything less than a win in this match, and the Southampton result will be ruined, for me anyway. Hopefully,it won't be an "after the Lord Mayor's show" occasion. Momentum, please,Mr,Monk. Sunderland have a Cup on their minds now,so that could benefit The Swans'.
Think I'd rather we play beautiful passing football, with 85% possession, 95% passing accuracy and have all the pundits on MOTD purring on how well we play the "beautiful" game, but lose to a last minute sucker punch that was Sunderland's only shot on target in the entire game ......
Valley - no interest in Everton or any other team. Just the mighty Swans for me - same for the last 49 years!
Can't see us losing this match, they could scrape a draw but I fance a 3-1 win. My only worry is that Wickham Connor is injured so Fletcher will get a start, how many times as he put us to the sword over recent years.
Well with both Ki and Leon back I expect our ball retention ability to improve ten fold on recent weeks
Forgot about Cork. If I was Monk I'd find a system that allows all 3 to be on the pitch. Maybe play Ki in the AM role with Cork and Leon in behind him.
Could well be right. It might be a Cork and Leon/Carroll combo in midfield then with Jonjo in front of them.
Jet lag is not much of an issue coming back (For me anyway). I go to the Philippines every year - it's hard going there, as I can't sleep when it's bedtime, but easy coming back as it just feels like a long day and I'm ready to sleep when the time comes.
No matter who we play I always have a bet on 2-1 Swans.Saturday I'm going with your shout as well 3-1 Swans.
