Off Topic Banned off the Hull board ..........

So how come it was upheld?

Genuine question cos it seems a bit odd.

 

@Hull City AFC (Ricardo) has responded to me in regards to Smug on the Hull board which smug can't read, on closed thread on which I can't respond. The man is coward and needs to man up instead hiding.

 

We really don't hold grudges. One person doesn't speak for the message board, does it?

I'm not saying Riccardo's actions are right, but i doubt Smugs has covered himself in glory. From what i've read he seems to like to dish it out.

 

Was he ****. The special needs things you keep trying to mention was nothing to do with anything.

As I'm now in from work I'll comment.

Smug was permanently banned from our forum last year because him being a persistant liar caused problems that shouldn't have existed. I ended up one night having to spend several hours of my life going round different boards trying to find out what the hell he was talking about only to find it was yet another load of made up drivel. It caused me hassle, and it caused the supermods hassle all because he's a dishonest pain in the arse when he goes on other boards, then comes crying here to you lot about how unfair it is he got banned.

We never lifted the ban, when the new format came in none of the existing bans transferred. I asked a few weeks ago for them to reinstate the bans, but as there's been more pressing things to deal with it's taken time for the supermods and Mick to get round to doing it. The first time I'd seen a user posting that was supposed to be banned I reposted the request saying I'd seen no reason to lift the ban and could they reapply it now.

The existance of this thread is a prime example of the kind of crap people have to deal with because of him. He was banned from our forum, and we've never said anything about removing the ban, so why was he trying to post on our forum in the first place? Now he's complaining that a ban that was never lifted by our mods is being enforced.

Oh, and for the record, if our mods are all super sensitive and ban happy, does someone want to explain why other than people with whole site bans we only have 2 non-City fans banned from our forum? Smug might be alright on here, but if that's the case that's where he should stay. When he goes elsewhere he's an embarrassment.

 

Why can't he read an open forum? Someone not even registered can read these boards.

It seems to me that the problem is with the board change.

A permanent ban (ie for ever and ever amen) was lifted but shouldn`t have because it was permanent. Because it was permanent it had to be done again. I think that`s what I mean

In the meantime Smug joined in again thinking the ban was lifted.

Does that sound right?

Because none of us know why he was banned really, to call somebody a liar then surely it has to be proven, plus as stated its not in the rules for fibbing to be a reason to ban, ffs we have the hot redhead who claims to be a millionaire ufc champion when we all know he's a spotty faced skinny ****wit with nee mates
