    Morning WJ,

    Inconsistent, yes but not balanced?

Mowatt and Cook have a big future, and cook in particular has come into his own this season. Shame we don't have one absolute quality midfielder he can link up with

    Morning Mike,

Hope you and Moe are well pal <ok>

Interesting you say you wouldn't want Redknapp. Redknapp would never want a job up north, he is very settled in an area called Sandbanks, 30 mins from me actually.

Leeds United looked into the option of signing two Premier League wingers on loan on transfer deadline day, report theYorkshire Evening Post.

The club made three loan additions during the window, but are still short on players in the position, and with signing imposing striker Edgar Cani, getting service into him is crucial.

The paper report: "Sources at Elland Road say United’s boss also looked at Tom Ince and Matt Phillips in the closing stages of the window."

    What happened?

Leeds missed out on Ince entirely, as he left Hull City to sign with Championship joint-leaders Derby County until the end of the season.

A former under-21 player of the year in the division when at Blackpool, the England under-21 international would have been a clever addition despite an underwhelming spell at Nottingham Forest earlier in the season.

Matt Phillips however did not go anywhere, and remains a QPR player.

    Can Leeds still sign Phillips?

The Football League loan window opens on Monday, and Leeds could still seek to pursue a deal for the 23-year-old Scottish international.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp resigned on Tuesday, and Phillips is unlikely to be moved on quickly as a result. The new boss, when appointed, will want to look at all players he has at his disposal, with the west London side locked into a relegation battle.

Phillips has made seven starts in all competitions this season, and five substitute appearances, but had not managed a single goal or assist, but had been out of favour - not playing a single Premier League minute in January.

The winger has Championship experience, netting three goals in 13 games during QPR's promotion campaign last season.

If Leeds bide their time, there is still a chance they can do a deal, but much will depend on a potential new start at his current club for Phillips, and his desire to stay.

The problem is if you're name isn't Rio Ferdinand then the FA will come down on you like a ton of Bricks on this subject. They'll be camera's at the game and not just the BBC. I don't know how many countries watch championship football but has to be more than just England

The FA can look as tough as they want but without EVIDENCE they can do nothing. If Bellusci is to be convicted they need to prove he has said something otherwise they will end up in court themselves.

Huddersfield defender Tommy Smith says that he panicked as he was airlifted to hospital after being knocked out in Saturday's defeat to rivals Leeds.

The 22-year-old right-back was treated for eight minutes after a nasty collision with keeper Joe Murphy late in the game.

Smith was taken to Leeds General Hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance but was back in training on Monday morning.

He said: "I can remember all the game up until the incident quite clearly, but then I felt as though I clashed my head from both sides and, when I went down, that was pretty much it," Smith told the Huddersfield Examiner.

"I regained full consciousness when we were halfway to the hospital in the helicopter, which took me by surprise, and when I realised where I was I started panicking a little bit.

"I was all strapped up to keep me secure and the panic came about because I couldn't really move.

"I remember thinking to myself just to try and keep calm, to close my eyes and hopefully the whole experience will be over in no time.

Think I would have panicked too...

The word he used was Oreo I think meaning your Black on the Outside but White on the inside. It was a racially motivated comment. It was said because Cole defended Terry against Anton Ferdinand.. Cole's mother is White.

Don't remember Ferdinand getting charged with anything

I was mesmerised by these words above:
    - "imposing striker Edgar Cani"

Wonder how often that phrase will be used to end of season

Phillips I believe plays on the right but there are ? about his temprament so thats wants looking into .If my memory serves me right bought by Hoolly from Wycombe to Blackpool for 300k sold to QPR for £5m so provided we can sort out his problems we could have aa good find
Ince seems to be too interested in money for me
The other alternative of course would be Eagles who just needs motivating and is a free agent !
