    Good Morning Everyone,

Giuseppe Bellusci’s racism charge will go before a Football Association disciplinary commission tomorrow with the Leeds United defender fighting to avoid a minimum five-game ban.

Bellusci is set to attend tomorrow’s hearing in person and will deny allegations that he racially abused Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome during a Championship game in October.

The Italian centre-back is accused of calling Jerome a “negro” midway through the first half of a 1-1 draw between Leeds and Norwich at Carrow Road on October 21.

Bellusci has protested his innocence since the claim against him was passed to the FA by match referee Mark Clattenburg and United promised him their full support after the 25-year-old was charged with misconduct by the governing body on December 22.

The FA has not made the date or location of Bellusci’s hearing public and it declined to comment.

Sources close to the process do not expect the disciplinary commission to deliver its verdict immediately and a ruling on Bellusci’s charge is more likely to come next week. The defender, who is currently one game into a mandatory two-match ban after his red card in last month’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth, will face a lengthy suspension if the FA finds him guilty.

The organisation’s rules were rewritten in 2013 to impose a minimum ban of five games on any player found guilty of racism or other discriminatory behaviour.

That sanction was introduced following the high-profile and controversial racism cases which led to suspensions for Chelsea captain John Terry and former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Leeds are at risk of losing Bellusci for at least a month of their Championship term and they moved to sign defensive cover during the January transfer window by taking Sol Bamba on loan from Palermo.

The departure of David Norris’ on Monday left Rodolph Austin and Steve Morison as the only surviving members of Neil Warnock's tenure.

Luke Varney, Jamie Ashdown, Adam Drury, Andy Gray, Paul Green, Lee Peltier, Paddy Kenny, Jason Pearce, El-Hadji Diouf and Stephen Warnock have all departed the club.

If you compare our current crop of players, do we have a better team now?

The answer is yes a much better squad than under Warnock, but not confident about Redfearn, because with this squad we should be much higher. Redders is stubborn, short sighted and prefers his kids to the new kids. He freezes players out and seems unwilling or unable to change tactics, and we're only just learning how to take shots at goal, as we've played many matches when we only had 2 shots which is crap.

The better question would be how well would Warnock or Grayson have done with this squad, and I think under Warnock we would have been solid and got the ball back to front quicker (More hoofball) But better results and higher league position. Under Grayson we would have been flying but would have had to watch games where we conceded goals but scored more than them

Morning Elland from a very pleasant 23C Qatar

Anything to do with Leeds United and the FA are already rubbing their hands in anticipation, so Bellusci is going to get a ban, after saying that not too concerned as he is a loose cannon and we have appropriate cover.

Is the team better now than it was with Warnock, well i personnelly think so, but i watched the first half of Scum against Cambridge last night and that brought back great memories when we turned them over, and that team then (who was in league one) was a better side than the current one now, so have we gone backwards or am i missing something!!

Very interesting list, honestly it says something about warnocks signings

Only leaver I regret is Warnock and not too fussed there given his age

To be fair the 2 left are worth keeping this season anyway

I agree with Doc on the first part of his comments.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Even some fans commenting on articles are saying the same or similar in regards to Redders favourites and how he's gone about ousting some Cellino signings.

As the saying goes, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Good morning all, a better squad, I want to say yes but with so many new signings not featuring it is difficult. Would the answer still be yes if all the loan signings return and we don't actually sign any of them?

    Morning All,

I think we have a stronger squad, but not altogether sure. It's certainly not as consistent. It's that old word 'potential' again that gives me hope. The one thing that I believe is much stronger is our back 4, especially in the CB berths. It's always been a questionable area in our teams over the last few years, but I think we just might be on track now.

As for the Bellusci case, I believe it to be frivolous. One man's word against another. It's so easy to make an accusation. I believe that there should be a punishment up for grabs that the loser gets - whether the accused or the accuser. All of a sudden, there might be a drop in frivolous and mischief-making allegations. Jerome is a serial accuser, and has a poor record of being proved correct. Wonder if he'd do it so often if he got a 5 match ban every time it got thrown out?

As for Redders, I'm not sure what the future holds for him. Of late he seems to have woken up & smelled the coffee. He's dropped most of his kids at one time or another & has dropped the diamond for every match. Perhaps there's some hope for him, but whether he's got the capability or the time to change further is another question.

Good morning to Matt and co from a sunny COTE de Bardsey
I feel that with the right man this team has the hallmarks of developing into a very good one.I have been ridiculed many times for saying Grayson was 2 to Revie and it could turn out that way
You may remember Andy Detort a player we were interested in last summer well Wigan paid £3m for him and now hes back in France so we might have been lucky for once
Redders I fear is not up to the task and no we dont want Rednapp either Howe would be my preferred choice but I cant remember reading it anywhere !
Bellusci its one man word against another so lets call it a draw and move on the lad is making mountains out of mole hills obviously got issues

Morning Doc, jury's still out on Redders. How many times have we probably had better talent in our reserves than what we have bought I wonder? Grass is rarely greener. I would have loved to see Grayson given a crack with some money to spend.

    Mornig Doha,

I think most people would agree that our team is better now, than it was but Warnock had little money to splash, and the freebee's he signed had bonus incentives like Michael Brown

Morning 20/20, a very balanced view....

Warnock was solid, and a leader. His failings are his age, and his pace. Saying this Harte is still going strong at 38, and he was certainly not blessed with pace, even during his 20's

    mORNING RISTAC,

It would be good to see some of our loanees given an opportunity.

Why considering Doukara was on a season long loan, did we sign him permanently, and so quickly?

    Morning all

With what the FA have had to put up with on the Racism front they FA will have to come down on Belluscci. Yes it's one persons word against another but the FA will need to look tough on this Issue. We're not in Ukraine.

Is this team better than Warnock's probably yes but it's not hard to be better than Green and Varney however it's not a good as Graysons's team.
