Similarly a standing ovation (couldn't bring myself to cheer) when Kermit scores against us.

That's a "Football for a fiver" day, so there will be a lot of once-a-year fans there. Couldn't expect them to join in anything, but it would be a good day for a public protest. Douchebag won't give a toss, but it would make me and others feel better.

Disappointed with the club at the moment - who wouldn't be? But even more disappointed with our supporters, or at least by the headless chickens that make so much noise on messageboards.

The so-called 'G21' grouping set up a year ago by Rick Everitt and Steve Dixon explained carefully at the time why being part of a network would be a disaster and set out a plan of action that was constructive and might have got somewhere. That initiative was abused and ridiculed by a bizarre coalition that ranged from CL's Ben Hayes to ITTV's Paul May.

Now the G21's most vocal critics - the same people who either offered Duchatalet 100 per cent support or said 'at least give him a chance' - can see that they made an egregious error, and are demanding that 'something has to be done' and are calling for half-baked walk-outs at a 'football for a fiver' game when the ground is going to be full of families on a rare visit.

The CA Supporters Trust is in a difficult and compromised position that makes it difficult for them to be the vanguard of any protest. So can I invite the G21 to come out of retirement and take up the cudgels?

Kent mate, the Udders game will have such an acidic atmosphere would you really take a family?

G21 were not into anything new. Most fans that are able to use cutlery knew the dangers of selling to a franchise. G21 were a set up and they chose their moment to rattle their flasks probably after Muzza tipped them off. Why didn't g21 appear before? (note not while Everett was getting his pay off from Slater) and chose their moment to undermine CAST. It was all a game orchestrated to piss off CAST and remind them of past glories.

I do not understand why CAST are compromised- why so? They claim to represent the supporters then get off their arses and do just that - they are just looking for scraps on the battlefield without taking part and will sell us out. I can smell their ambition and its putrid.

In this country we allow billion dollar companies to avoid paying taxes. We let the rich criminals get legal aid. We ferry Katey Price's kid about while she is whoring herself on telly at 500k a pop. Do we turn off the telly? do we stop getting Amazon products or drinking coffee at the shathouse coffe shops- no. We are too interetsted in a cheap deal or too damn polite and this is exactly why Roland knows he can pull our pants down and shaft us. Violence and loud noises won't work.

No protest will be effective against Roly unless we organise ourselves - and all the time we have the supporters trust and charlton life, and G21 and that prize cock over on ITTV trying to run things - we are sunk. I counted 3 scenes from life of Brian have been played out today on the forums.

The reason the Valley Party worked is that you had no internet, and one policy. That is where we have to start.

One believes things because one has been conditioned to believe them[...]most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution.

...........and that one policy has to be to get rid of Le Douche. Carlisle fans managed to get rid of Michael Knighton, took them years but they did it. Maybe they didn't have the Judean People's Front though.

Not compromised as in they've done anything wrong. Compromised in terms of leading a protest, though, because the Trust need to work with the club whoever the owner happens to be and cannot afford to become the 'official opposition'. Therefore, a protest needs its spearhead to come from elsewhere. The forums are useless but the G21 or a similar body representing a wide range of forces would be ideal.

Kent - didn't Rick Everitt rather fatally undermine his own credibility last year by subsequently admitting that he had bought discounted Season Tickets?

I kid you not - Razil has just announced over on CL that "the Trust" is about to declare a plan of action .....

Kent - you can't take a fiver off fans and call yourself the CAFC supporters trust and then hide. This annoys me immensely, that these pansie revolutionaries are not representing the fans but looking for a pat on the head from Roly. They disgust me. This is exactly what makes Roly stronger, an unelected lap dog licking his arse and purportedly being the link between board and fans. I don't want to be friends with Roly, I don't give a **** if Bovril is running out in the East stand. I want Roland to make Cafc a priority or leave.

This is exactly what happened with the supporters club all Those years ago, they were thrown titbits by the board and let the Valley rot. Not again.

I read something on facebook about a sit in protest. Basically where we stayed seated after the game.

    Yeah - I didn't sign it either.

Razil is just a PR machine. Since joining the CAST, I have seen no visible impact being made, or hear of any meetings that they've had, or any attempt at trying to get answers. All I've got instead, is a bunch of news snippits in emails, telling us what other journalists think, or what other people think.

We need a John Lilburne, Edward Sexby or Thomas Rainsborough type of character taking charge...

Quite possibly. Historically inaccurate portrayal of The Levellers, but a good show nonetheless. We should learn from their examples. When the people, united by the same belief and set of principles, can even topple kings.

And surely the first step in establishing such a body would be a public gathering where as many people as possible were invited to attend and share their views & ideas?
