Whats the odds on Donald Pleasance selling him before the summer of 2017? Only remember this?

How long did it take for Bale to be sold after he signed his long term contract with the spuds ?

Personally I think Erikson will be the first one to go. He's clearly good enough to play for a big club and given that the Spuds cannot offer him Champions League football, you would think that there will come a time where he wants to test himself at the top level.

(Remember HIAG you have to actually be in the Champions League to take part in Champions League games. I'm still laughing at your claim that Spurs have more chance than Arsenal of winning it)

Players are frequently asked to sign updated, new contracts. It increases their value, and subsequently the clubs bargaining position in any transfer scenario.

The lure of Real is very...real! Don't kid yourself that if they came knocking at your door that heads would not be turned - they would!

As to Eriksen, we paid £8mil. What do you reckon he's worth now? Maybe 4 times that? We don't kid ourselves, we know if the price is right, Levy will sell.

It would be good business to sell Eriksen for £30m if you get it, and everyone knows Levy will sell, and he will sell Kane if price is right.
it's what you spend the money on that's the problem, because if you do sell Eriksen what players do you have that the Bale money bought that are worth what you paid ?

  6. I know I got it a bit wrong with Bale, but I cannot see Levy selling either Eriksen or Kane, whatever price is offered.

You heard it here, first, lads.

He's not quite 23 yet. He's proven himself in the Premiership and looks like he will only get better at the moment. So, I don't think £30mil is beyond the realms of reality in this crazy market.

The others. Soldado and Lamela are the biggest disappointments to me. Soldado, who banged them in regularly in Spain, can't hit a cows arse over in the UK. Lamela, I don't know what to make of. I keep hoping that he'll give us a glimpse of why he was so highly thought of, but at the moment, he just looks like show pony!

I don't think even Levy would have the nerve to sell Eriksen or Kane in the short term. There'd be a riot.

In the end, if a player sets his heart on a move, there is not a lot that can be done. I'm sure Utd would have wanted to keep Ronaldo, Arsenal Fabregas and Van Persie but it's not possible. All the club can do is get the best price. Eriksen was touted for a move from Ajax for years, but stayed loyal despite many offers. He will decide to leave not on a whim but after giving Spurs decent service. And if he believes Poch is building a title challenging team, we may see him for a good few years yet.

Usual WUM nonsense, from a so called "moderator". Of course Lennon is better than Walnut - he's fit to play. Which is more than Walnut is most of the time.

i don't think you'll find that Levy is scared of anybody. He sensibly, in my view, refused to subsidise Adebayor's move to a current EPL rival.

I'm just going on the proven form of Levy being a selling chairman.

Sorry, but a player who is generally fit to play is always better than one who is generally not! And, to cap it off, reports suggest he's got the nerve to kick off about his wages, too!

So you would rather have a fit clogger who can play every game rather than a skilful player who gets injured.
****ing hell I know what I would rather watch play
