can anyone tell me how Rangers loaned 5 players from newcastle? I thought the rules stated you can only loan 1 player from any one club.
Can only loan one player per club with a maximum of two long term loans in the premier league Think the maximum amount of foreign players for us is 4 or 5 Can just get around that ruling by the clubs associating with one another and Rangers becoming the feeder team as it were, then you can send as many as you like
Watford loaned about 9 players from Udinese a couple of seasons ago didn;t they? Different league - 1 player from a club in the same league but not certain of the number you can have from outside of your own league
Talking to a Watford supporter at work he says they are owned by the Pozzo family who also own Udinese and Granada. The year that you are on about the rules in the championship at the time were that any players loaned from abroad were classed as permanent but the match day squad still had to have a number of home grown players so they could 'beef' out their squad with overseas players from their 'parent' clubs. He thinks the rules were changed the next year though.
Ashley is no ****ing mug. You don't become a billionaire by being an idiot. Gotta love the guy anyway, constantly humiliates & takes the piss out of the horse punchers & uses them as a feeder club for Glasgow Rangers. Let's be honest about it. Who's most likely to be back in the champions league first - Rangers or the Nag twatters?
Can't be arsed. You could tell me. Bet they're gutted, being used like that. A pawn in something that should certainly be illegal. You're bound to know Rangers fans too, what do they think?
Well I think that on the whole Watford fans are ok about it although it's been a while since I paid a visit over there. But they are in the play off positions & sitting quite pretty. I have some good mates who are Rangers fans & the jury seems to be out atm. They haven't had it all their own way this season but like I said on another thread, who's gonna reach champo league first. Rangers or the mags? Ashley's not ****ing stupid.
It's all about expanding his brand to a wider audience and getting Rangers into Europe does thst for him. Do you think he'd be brazen enough to rename Ibrox? I wouldn't put it passed him to try
I doubt he'd re-name Ibrox but he'll have SportsDirect ads all over it. Like I say, he's not an idiot.
