Stuff about Silverstone pitting: - The top teams will probably three stop. - A pit stop will take about 15 secs. - Pit lane limit is 62mph but in the new pit lane entrance there is a right turn which they might not be able to take at 62mph so could be interesting if drivers start pushing to gain an advantage.
As expected, pictures taken today at Silverstone reveal some new parts for Ferrari. The new parts look good. Remember the old rear wing? Now Ferrari have brought a completely different one, which looks very similar to Red Bull (DRS): please log in to view this image Also they have some Mercedes-esque slits in the body work: please log in to view this image please log in to view this image One thing I am disappointed to see is the lack of their Monaco-spec engine cover, which could be really useful for them at Silverstone. I am hoping they will reveal it tomorrow on the track - just like they did at Monaco. If they have a flexible front wing, we'll notice it tomorrow from the onboard shots - but the last I heard about it (which was just before Canada) it was still on the drawing board at Maranello.
I see the voting is well in Vettell's favour - but the weather forecast & the rule changes suggest an upset maybe?

Thanks for those Forza. It always amazes me how teams allow these photos of new parts to be taken. I guess they know that pics will be taken by loads of photographers throughout the weekend anyway so they may as well just let them be taken.
Thursday's photos may not be representative of the parts the teams fit for the rest of the weekend. Thursday press conference with Barrichello, Button, di Resta, Hamilton and Ricciardo. Good selection.
I.E. "Doesn't matter what I say, you'll print what you want to anyway. By the way, can you tell me what my new voicemail PIN is?
Mercedes have a few interesting bits on the car. Manny (wherever he is) should be pleased. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
I dont know how that first picture is supposed to help Mercedes really. Or are they trying to give all the other drivers a puncture? Or make sure the all the other drivers stub their toe on it?
