Where would you recommend to go in "Town" ? I done one last week and switched from drinking Stella to drinking the real ales in proper ale houses and here's my list in order:
    Globe (met here)
    Dispensary
    Roscoe head
    Belvedere
    Ye cracke
    White star
Ye olde hole in the wall
    Vernon
Ship and mitre to finish off.
Two of the lads had come through from Chester so the return leg is at Chester .<ale><ale>

Can't be arsed with pub crawls any more. Also I no longer live in the Pool and I've never lived in Chester, so all in all, a pretty useless contribution from me.

    Wait for it..............

Talking of the Beehive....I remember getting a legger out of there from a bunch of fat bitters after the derby (after Rosenthal's late, late winner). Must have been about thirty of them chasing 5 or 6 of us....and they never even got close <laugh> Fat bastards the blues seriously...and they can't throw pint glasses for **** <whistle>

    Edit,

Just checked, it was 10 years ago.<yikes>

There's probably been a few new managers since then.<laugh>
