Sky has a regular programme on sportswomen...called imaginatively Sportswomen I tend to like the usual sports and follow the men's international sides (and Saints of course), but I have found this programme very interesting. It has a magazine format with in depth looks at individual women (and their success and problems), the struggles within some sports (funding etc) and upcoming tournaments (including fringe sports). Well done to Sky for providing this coverage...encouraging the young into sport and not just having blanket coverage of football (even though I love that as well).
Woken up to find out a mate from uni has died. That's today as a complete write-off. Jesus, life is so precious.

McIlroy taking his previous management company to court. People expressing surprise it got this far as they can see embarrassment and private things coming out in public. Rory saying he was forced to sign a contract with them (really!!) and they charged him too much...claiming they overcharged him by 4 million (this against a company that got him a 93 million deal). Just how much money do you seriously need.
He developed a sudden heavy bleed from his heart, and was taken to intensive care. Spent about 12 hours there before being transferred for a transplant, but he died before they could operate.
I saw some adverts for it....another 'whodunit'? There's a surprise. That's the only kind of 'drama' this country can produce it would seem (well, that and casualty)

IS can never prevail because they are building nothing. In fact that is the problem with all the extreme Muslim factions...how can you succeed in the modern world if you don't allow education or progress. The trouble is that a lot of innocent people will suffer before these factions collapse.

They didn't drug him up. They let him scream. CNN are saying he was killed a month ago (3rd Jan). They just didn't release the footage as IS hoped the could get IS prisoners that are in Jordan back.
