What is the issue with Ince ? , are we looking to offload him permanently ?. He has ability but needs a consistent run of games with us to show us his worth. Strange that we are farming him out on loan at every opportunity and not giving him a chance it seems.

He hasn't had a decent chance, yet the same players who are **** every week get played every week, if you're not going to attempt something different when things aren't working then you go down, simple.

We needed a winger, and instead we've got rid of one, baffling.

I agree, he hasn't really had much of a chance. So we have to guess and maybe he or his father don't get along with Bruce.

Steve Bruce has been friends with his dad since before he was born, probably. He wanted him here, he pushed for it. The only thing stopping Ince playing is Ince. He hasnt done it on the pitch or in training i imagine.
He was poor in those first few games. He looked ok in a game a few weeks back but did **** all when he came on on Saturday.
He only had to roll his sleeves up and really have a go and he would have been playing this Saturday. He didnt just strolled about with minimum effort.

He needs development and not in a team struggling like us at the moment. He adds nowt to us yet. He will learn a ****e load at Derby, it'll be good for him, and hopefully good for us and Derby in the long term.

We might not be doing great but the calls for inexperienced or youth team players to be thrown into our first team at the moment is ****ing silly, and could be why some of you aren't managers of professional football clubs.

He has been no worse than Aluko or Brady, but they'll still get a chance this season. Bruce's head is so far up Aluko's arse.

SB promised his dad that he would get games, and obviously he doesn't see him getting a run of games with us.

Preaching to the converted here mate. I would happily have got rid of Aluko.
Dont think its fair to lump Brady in there though.

I don't mind Brady but he hasn't done anything more than Ince to deserve a place in the team/squad, Bruce is a real hypocrite, his favouritism reminds me of Phil Brown.

Loaning him out is best all round, he just isn't what we need right now. God he was so frustrating against West Brom away - lightweight, wasting possession with speculative shots from miles out, a fancy dan with poor decision-making. We haven't got time for him to learn to get streetwise, hopefully he'll do that at Derby.

We haven't got time for the rest of the squad to get streetwise either, if they was maybe we wouldn't be in the bottom 3.

He's not done any worse than Aluko, and importantly he's only had 3 starts, they were back in August, all as a striker and he wasn't even that bad. Not good but he wasn't terrible either.

Ridiculous signing someone with his pedigree and then giving up on him before we've even given him a single start in his proper position.

Happy - he's not an 18 year old ffs. He's 23 and was the best player in the football league at 21.

I disagree. He's been significantly worse than Aluko and Brady. Powder puff, knocked off the ball too easily, not enough fight. He was desperately poor for most of the cup game against Arsenal away, and poor against West Brom. He's had plenty of chances and has failed to shine. And -- like Sagbo -- failed in his last Championship loan spell. I just hope Derby did indeed pay a £300k loan fee in the end after baulking at it initially.

Agreed this to a point. However, Tom Ince has done nothing since that "purple" patch @ Blackpool and he needs to play. Derby need players due to player recalls and injuries and Derby offers a good place to play.
However Ince needs to improve greatly or Derby will bin him as well. Look what happened this season to Ince @ Forest ? Shame as he has talent.

When we get Diame back Ince would be hard pressed to even make our bench.

Saw a funny tweet from Leicester GK Ben Hamer. Tom Ince is being thrown around like a baloon at a Nickleback concert. He has a point.

Can you choose the top 3 for the rest of the season as you quite clearly are more savvy than the rest of us on here?

It's clear to anyone he's been far from our best player this season.

I think best is a strong word, least bad might be more accurate with the season we're having. Got to say I've not seen much of us this year but I'm surprised Elmo isn't the least bad, has he been harmed by the backpass and the handball recently?
