What I want to know is, has he got a decent haircut? Say like Diego Costa, or is it the 'dead slug sleeping on head' thing they all seem to have these days?

Its a punt when you take a player from a far far inferior league, i agree miff. Look at Chelsea 26 million for Cuadrado...

He's got a ginger afro in the style of a mohawk. We're good on the hair front.

Of course it's a punt, due to us not having brought in enough strikers earlier in the season, but any striker is a high risk signing, and at 2.5 - 3 million for someone with a better strike record than Hernandez, it seems a reasonable and necessary punt to me. We only have 2 real strikers and neither of them have been fit for more than about 3 games on the trot! Of course we should have got another midfielder as well but that doesn't mean we didn't need to have a go for a striker. And even if Hull City had moved heaven and earth for Lennon, if he preferred a bigger club like Everton to a relegation struggle at Hull, so be it. Do you imagine SB wasn't trying to bring in a proven premier league player?

Sub-editors will be loving this signing. Prepare yourselves for the headline following his first winning goal being 'There's nothing like a Dame'.

Possibly the most desperate post ever to have graced this, or any other, board!

I worry about footballers who take their hair more seriously than their football.

He took his hair very seriously, and just as worryingly so did the public. The major story on him last season was about his hair.

Yeah **** him for raising all that money for charity. Clearly that was his main focus last season rather than playing football.
