That's nothing new though, in fact it's better for 16 year olds at school now than it used to be before they swapped the student discount for the 16-21 (and then increased it to 22).

As for the categories of games. I'm pretty sure they had to set the categories and prices before the season started. They certainly had to set how many of each category there would be as the savings on matchday prices form part of the season ticket sales spiel. I know QPR got caught out a few years ago when they got taken over and the new owners wanted to increase prices midseason. Derby (Adam Pearson I think it was in fact) objected and the increase had to wait until the summer.

I was with you until the last sentence Files! Its bad enough they get free housing, free food, free bills, free holidays and free Sky, they should NOT get to see my team for free. In fact, they should be out looking for a job ffs. Yes, every day of the week. Or doing some voluntary work (no, not stewarding).

Kids though, yeah, I love that idea for under 14s.

The categories have been changing as the season has gone on, there were originally six Cat A games, but Spurs was switched for a Cat to a Cat B. Southampton was switched from a Cat C to a Cat B, they only thing the club are concious of is keeping the today overall machday prices higher than a season ticket.

Reason being is if they reduce prices, they get **** off the season ticket holders, and thats then used as an excuse for not resubbing season tickets the following year. If they don't reduce them they get **** off other groups.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

They do still try to encourage people though, but you can't force people into the ground who don't want to go regardless of cost, and in all the talk of prices and categories, that simple little fact is being ignored and yet it's the main root of our problems.

I firmly believe it will take a good 5 years of PL football, and a massive investment in the club for us to be genuinely able to say Hull has embraced football as a city.

If we're still in the PL in 5 years our crowds will be embarrassingly low unless we have some major success, or a real effort is put into getting some of the City's many football fans to be City fans.

The club have shown they don't know how to keep the ones we've got, never mind attracting new City fans.

They need seriously better advice than what ever they've been getting.

Not that I'm biased, but I thought my earlier, "Dame N’Doye in da bungalow" was better. <ok>

They obviously have to keep season ticket prices more attractive than just buying matchday tickets, the problem this season has been that they set all the matchday prices at the wrong levels. The Cat B and C games are too high and the Cat A didn't need to be as low as they are, they also completely cocked up the disabled pricing, hopefully all of these will be addressed for next season.

    Yeaaaaaaaah.

    Er.

    No.

    Sorry Dutch, just, no.

I still think a loud chorus of "There aint nothing like a Daaaaame" if/when he scores would be frigging awesome.

I've no doubt they will make some changes next season. I've also no doubt that regardless of what they do, there will be people complaining.

The 'Nothing Like a Dame' song won't work, as his name is actually pronounced Dam.

We could always just do the dam busters theme?

Or Whitney Houston's 'N'Doye I Will Always Love You'?
