To preserve what's left of our tattered dignity and the shreds of our self respect, I suggest that we collectively pretend that we really didn't want to sign or loan any players this window, Zarate was a favour to Fat Sam, and we are delighted with the strength in depth of our hugely talented squad. If we all try hard enough this will become the truth, we'll all believe it, just like we believe that a poor pre season, the totally unexpected loss of Remy, new (in the summer) players needing to gain match fitness and 'gel', and a fat kid called Adel are the causes of us getting 2 points from the last 6 games. Its all part of Swiss Tony's long term strategy to flummox the Football League & our opponents. A few seasons back we bought more goalkeepers than we could ever need. Last season we bought or loaned 463 midfielders. This season we don't buy any strikers even though we're desperate. If we can't understand our owners & management staff then I'm sure no-one else can.
