I think that you will find that the tastes of the west side of South Hampshire are a bit too sophisticated and mature to be watching Glee, PL...
http://www.thesportspredictor.com/#/predictor/pro Have a go, just did mine (albeit I excluded City and Chelsea, and everybody below West Ham): Team GD Points Arsenal 35 75 Saints 35 72 Utd 27 69 Spurs 17 68 Liverpool16 65 West Ham 4 55
You calling me immature? *gasp* Meh. I just want someone to talk to about Glee. Luckilly that girl I like (sorry, I wasn't meant to mention her) is a gleek. One of a multitude of things we have in common
I did that a few weeks ago. I had Arsenal third, with Saints and United on level points going intoast game.... Us away v City, them playing Hull
Fran - am up to speed on Fortitude. I don't know if you read the Guardian blogs on these things, but they're doing one for Fortitude (and it clears up a couple of the things that had confused me!) Interesting start to the programme. Looking forward to seeing how it develops.... http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-r...e-recap-episode-one-secrets-lies-and-suspects
Massive heart in mouth moment this morning. Was driving down track to work (covered in snow). Was only going 10mph or so but the track's downhill and I couldn't brake. Suddenly, the sharp right turn was on me and I uttered various swear words. Luckily, someone had gritted the corner otherwise I was going straight into the hedge.
Enjoyed that Fortitude recap...reminded me of stuff I had forgotten and put some characters in place. The director said we will find out the murderer early in the series, so obviously deeper than a pure who dunnit. And I appear to be one of the few enjoying Broadchurch....just suspend disbelief in legal procedure.
Fjordchurch? Yes Broadchurch itself improved a lot with the last episode I thought as we got back to the meat and bones of a good old whodunnit which was the premise that made the first series so enjoyable. Olivia Colman is still superb.
I think the relationship between Colman's and Tennant's characters is excellent. He appears to be the usual moody, troubled cop, but she is having none of it. She isn't acting like the junior side-kick...love the bit where she got him to push her baby buggy. Tiny touches like that reflect well on the director....like using fine brush strokes rather than a palette knife. I think it has picked up as the story progresses...think some viewers just got a bit precious about legal detail.
