Yep, seems he finished it, despite still needing funds. I wish him luck with it. Not sure why he'd bother making a film about it, but bless him, he obviously has a story to tell. http://www.theprovince.com/sports/C... injury/5054464/story.html?cid=megadrop_story
I guess it's not such a huge amount for someone with a lot of money, but you have to wonder why. Nice gesture though!
All it says is a Watford fan did it. I have to meet who ever it was!!!! That's true dedication!! Or madness!
To be fair to JD it wasn't his idea to make the film; its the work of one of his amateur filmaker friends from the US.
I remember reading about this project, and in the blurb asking for money, sorry 'investors' there was no mention of Watford. So I decided to leave it.
i thought as much, cos on the vids i have seen he has highlights of the play-off final. He would get major flack if he did not recognise the contribution the club had, and he was very loyal so i would expect him to
me too..otherwise he wouldn't have asked Watford peeps for money, for one thing. And his story almost begins at Watford..not quite, but almost! lol
I must admit I quite like stories like Jay's. We should make a film about a year in the life of a Watford fan. Anybody got £10K?????
Just heard theres an exclusive showing of this film in London next thursday (14th) looks like its an open to all event if anyones interested. I think its at a pub called the Crown in Blackfriars, but could be wrong.
I meant there was no mention in the blurb. Sorry for the confusion. I'd still like to see the film because, for a time, he was my favourite player. Ps hi joolz
