Strange, they liked him at Bournemouth and I think he started okay at Millwall but they were glad to get shot in the end - bit like Orient and Slade.
 
Apparently we're front runners to sign Eoin Doyle, the Chesterfield striker who has been banging them in. Albeit in L2...

£750k fee agreed for Doyle. Who plays for Chesterfield in Div. 1. Thought this might happen once they were out of the cup.
 
Surely we can put Doyle on the bench with Macheda and KWJ. That way he can keep the only other people at the club who've scored any goals company whilst they watch the match.
 
I think they're probably getting the £750k then there's performance based add ons for the 7 figure bit. In fairness if he scores goals at Championship level he's worth a 7 figure fee.
 
Says on the WOL feed that Maynard is injured. How long has that been the case? I thought he'd just been frozen out.
 
Yup Stevo, ALF has got a clear one Championship goal start on Doyle......<laugh>

With 18 games left this season, I wonder who will score most - ALF for Bolton or Doyle for us?
