Ince has not had a chance yet, even against Arsenal in the cup he was arguably our best player apart from McShane, he was the only player to threaten Arsenal at all, having a couple of attempts at goal. It would be very strange to let him go, even if we swap leagues with Derby, I would of thought Ince would be kept to fire us up back into the Premier League, which would see his development benefit from playing 46 games barring injury/suspension/loss of form. I doubt we'd let him go out on loan unless we have a winger signed, especially not with a view to sign him in the summer, which would be ridiculous.
The thing is, for all those criticising the sale of Ince there were ****loads of us asking why we were ever after him in the first place? He's never looked anywhere near a Premier League game changer in his 2 spells over the last 2 seasons. Once can only assume that Bruce thought he saw something that many of us hadnt, got him in, turns out he was wrong, he's big enough to admit it and then looks to cash-in before his stock completely falls. He took a chance, it hasnt worked and as long as we dont give him away hopefully we'll at least break even. Nothing wrong with that in my eyes. Lets face it, Ince seems to be a completely reprehensible character and his comments when he signed stuck in a lot of our throats. Maybe he's just a massive ****er and Bruce doesnt want him anywhere near our club.
Ince has never had a chance. Someone said Bruce picks the team, see's him in training etc etc, well Bruce hasn't exactly got a good fechin record at the moment has he?? Some of his team selections and formations and tactics have been ****e, so is it Ince's fault? Personally, I don't think so, but that's my opinion
Everyone's entitled to one, it just so happens that yours is wrong. He was a flash in the pan at Blackpool, no more, no less.
I really don't care about Ince leaving, whenever he has been given an opportunity, he's looked poor. Though it will be embarrassing if we don't get our £1.6m back.
Does anyone know what was the opinion of his spell with the Tricky Trees? Were they disappointed that we recalled him or did he do fook all there either?
How many games has Ince started, 3 or 4? I'm sorry but I don't care what anyone says you can't just **** someone off after a couple of starts because they didn't set the world alight, I think it's really hypocritical of Bruce to give certain players chance after chance but then someone like Ince gets 20 minutes at the end of games we're struggling in, and now he's looking to permanently get rid? It's ridiculous, Brady has been **** for ages and so has Aluko but they still continue to be given chances and aren't linked with moves away from the club.
Is he actually a real player or has the Irish, Man Utd supporter that taunts Chelsea fans been calling Steve Bruce? We need to sign Twente's Golsa Saison.
But the point (that at least I'm making) is he looked absolute dogga at Palace as well and the only criticism is we shouldnt have signed him in the first place. It's surely a good thing that our manager has admitted he was wrong in signing him and is now looking to get rid rather than persevere with someone who plainly isnt good enough.
I always thought he'd have been better off in Italian football, they'd play him there as an enforcer, like his old man
Well they must see something in Ince then for there to be interest from a club who will probably be playing Premier League football next season, Ince has a better chance of having a career in the Premier League by going to Derby.
He started the first three games after he went there, but was pulled at half time in the third, he was a sub in his 4th game, started his 5th and then came on from the bench for his 6th, he was an unused sub in the 7th(he didn't score, or get any assists). It seems he was very good in his first game, but largely anonymous in the others and they weren't bothered about him coming back to us.
